Appointment is tomorrow and i am still undecided and starting to panic.
I am torn between keeping it long and having feathering recut round the front and having an inverted long bob maybe something similar to this without fringe ??????
I am driving myself and Furball madas she has tried helping me find some styles but i dont know ahhhhhhhhhhh.
By the way i never go out with my hair up because i hate my ears but in the house it is usually tied up.
Also my hair has a tendency to frizz as soon as i set foot out of the house.

ooooh, you are goooooooorgeous !

that without the fringe would look lovely on you.. if you go frizzy, you need products... but yes, that would look lovely

lauraloola · 13/11/2008 21:05

I was like you so I did it gradually! I had long hair and had 3 inches cut off the first time then just above my shoulders the 2nd.

Much less of a shock.

BTW I think long hair really suits you. Its a lovely colour and I bet it shines.

cluelessnchaos · 13/11/2008 21:06

inverted bob would really suit you, I think if you go for a fringe definately a longer one.

nowwearefour · 13/11/2008 21:06

i think the style you have right now is lovely and really suits you. my vote is to keep the same with the feathering re-done.

KatieDD · 13/11/2008 21:06

No leave it alone, or give it to me

mrsmaidamess · 13/11/2008 21:07

I think a bob would look great on you. You are a bonny lass

MatNanPlus · 13/11/2008 21:08

I agree with NowWeAreFour feathering.

dizzydixies · 13/11/2008 21:08

cut it off, all of it and please then pop it in a jiffy bag and send it to me

I always wanted lovely long dark hair rather than my mousey brown frizzy effort and sadly all my girls seem to have mine too and not dh's lovely straight dark hair!!

I had mine cut just before having dd3 and now trying to grow it again as its a PITA not being able just to stick it up in a bobble, whilst I agree an inverted bob WOULD really suit you I think you should leave the front long enough to be able to stick up when you need to

Beauregard · 13/11/2008 21:09

Meant to say that hair is dyed as i am very grey.

Defintely inverted bob WITH fringe, you will look stunning, bold and stunning. You have good strong features to carry it off, so DO IT!!! And show us your pictures. You will not be young enough to carry it off so perfectly forever, so do it now!!! I love that look.

Lio · 13/11/2008 21:11

Wow, your hair is beautiful. Is it quite easy for you to make it look that good every day? And would the new style have any impact on that? (Ahem, I am a bit slovenly so that sort of thing is important for me when considering a hairstyle.)

HeinzSight · 13/11/2008 21:11

Agree, WITH fringe, you can always comb it to the side if you're not too keen.

HeinzSight · 13/11/2008 21:15

Me too, the only bit I straighten now is my fringe, tis easy

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 13/11/2008 21:16

you are lovvvvvvvely

inverted bob - do not get a fringe

ps not a bit what i had expected - you need to change your mumsnet name to something more glam!

morningpaper · 13/11/2008 21:17

you are a babe

do anything

you will still be a babe

FeelingLucky · 13/11/2008 21:17

My vote goes for inverted bob (easy to maintain too).

BTW - you might not have a pelvic floor anymore, but you're very attractive

LilRedWG · 13/11/2008 21:21

Don't change it - it is gorgeous!

Beauregard · 13/11/2008 21:21

you are all very kind

Does that bob look like it would scrape up in a short pony though?
I couldnt do a fringe i dont think as lots of upkeep.

Debris · 13/11/2008 21:23

an inverted bob with a fringe. mind you , anything would suit you,you are gorgeous.

ledodgy · 13/11/2008 21:24

It looks lovely how it is, if not i'd go for a simple bob with no fringe.

scroll down to Jenny McCarthy's hair

FeelingLucky · 13/11/2008 21:26

I sometimes have an inverted bob and tbh no it won't scrape up to a short pony. I used to wear an alice band if I wanted hair off my face.

Beauregard · 13/11/2008 21:37

Still not sure

OP posts:
Beauregard · 13/11/2008 22:12

Did anyone with long hair previously find that it irritated them having the hair hanging round their face? with no option of tying it back?
I couldnt wear an alice band because of my ears.
