For a short time my pic is on profile because i need people to tell me if i should go for the chop or keep imy hair longer

Appointment is tomorrow and i am still undecided and starting to panic.
I am torn between keeping it long and having feathering recut round the front and having an inverted long bob maybe something similar to this without fringe ??????
I am driving myself and Furball madas she has tried helping me find some styles but i dont know ahhhhhhhhhhh.
By the way i never go out with my hair up because i hate my ears but in the house it is usually tied up.
Also my hair has a tendency to frizz as soon as i set foot out of the house.

Pfnm: I compulsively change my hair, and it is annoying when one is growing it back. However, as long as you get it trimmed every two months you can stll keep it looking nice as it grows.

Looking at your picture, you'd look great wth a flicky pixie cut imo.

Gowaaarn: do it while you're young enough to get away with t. It'll grow back...

you need to take a couple of inches off at least. That will give you more "volume" as they say. Don't be frightened of a fringe, there's no upkeep but I do think it would age you.

ooh you look 'just right' in that 1st pic!! I would go for choppy longlayers round the face, keep the length at sides, and invert like you said.

Crap at hair advice so wont bother giving any.

I have had my long hair cut progressively shorter and shorter before now, with feathery bits round face etc. and found it a tad annoying when I couldn't scrape it back into a ponytail.
So now I always make sure it is long enough to be able to make a ponytail, but still have feathery gradations at the front (starting with chin length and getting longer)
My hair also frizzes easily and has a natural curl/wave - I cannot be arsed with products as I can't bear crispy hair (that's what I got with the one product someone induced me to try) - if you have shorter hair, the frizz becomes more unmanageable ime.
Frizzy fringes are THE worst thing ever. My hair is v. fine and so my fringe was too flyaway to ever look how I wanted it to (bear in mind the natural curl/wave and frizz as well).

I am an old crone

i grew my fringe just after i saw you last year,

chopped it off a yr back cos it looked better with a sort of retro outfit i was wearing out ( don't ask!!)

regretted it the next day!! Have been growing it out for a yr, but slwly geting morelayers and shorter at the back,

last haircut, long at front/sides (to lower jaw) the rest is short at back. it goes into nape of neck iyswim.

it was just hanging there, i got fed up !!!

Does your hair grow quickly? (I only ask because it makes it easier if you don't like the cut.)

i think looks fine as it is but the bob sounds fab.i had mine like that but got bored and had 'even' length bob with fringe but wish i had kept it the same.
