Why don't ginger people just dye their hair a normal colour?

Surely they should stop inflicting pain on the rest of us and go brunette or something?

Though ginger is a recessive gene, if us Reds decide to get together and have babies, we would take over the world. Cos from two Reds you can't get anything other than a baby Red.

[cross] cw just seen your earlier post. I was an arsey teenager and though I did get teased I managed to deal with it. I'm sure that in fact you have beautiful hair. how boring to be blonde or mousey. horrible that your confidence was knocked - you need a lovely hairdresser to fawn all over you and tell yuo how great it is (they often do with unusual colours)

Did anyone see 'Fuck off I'm Ginger' on BBC3 a while ago with Little Cook - was hilarious - he actually came across really well and you sort of started fancying him till he got his skinny white bod covered with bright orange hair out - made me feel a bit icky looking at a near naked Little Cook!

Bradley from EE was on it too and he reckons it hasn't held him back in the lady stakes!

DH has very dark hair from his father but his mother had red (ginger hair, we aren't allowed to say ginger in her presence) as did her mother - DH gets flecks of it in his beard and eyebrows - I told him that I checked out his pubes to see if they had ginger highlights because it would have put me off - his reply was that I never spend enough time down there for it to be an issue!!!

Mind you I dye my hair bright red so I shouldn;t really have an issue with it!!
