Yes or no to lounge sets?

This would be for mainly wearing in the house, but might pop to the shops in it. It's not the sort of thing I usually go for but thought it would look better than pyjamas when someone pops round unexpectedly, or when I want to be comfy at home but still look stylish enough to have a guest round.

I'm 5' 7" with a 32" inside leg- most are made for a 29" inside leg.

+1 to the Barley sets. You can elevate them with jewellery, fresh blow-dry, clever layering, nice bag if you want to smarten them up a bit. But I think they're great quality and wear beautifully. Love a matching athleisure set!

Scuba material is a name of a fabric type, a mix of.polyester and elastane. It's quite thick. It's not neoprene, which is a separate type of fabric made of a rubber foam.

Love a lounge set, the more matchy matchy the better in my book! I also like the scuba fabric, it doesn’t bobble or need ironing.

So if scuba material then very waterproof?!

I've got one of the brown modal sandwash sweatshirts. I love the fabric but it shows marks easily which is a bit annoying. Mine has a quarter zip which makes it look a bit less lougewear. I would get the matching trousers but they were too long (I'm 5 5)

Yes, it’s the matchiness (if that’s a word) that’s a problem for me too. I bought one from River Island (I haven’t seen the other thread) and felt ridiculous… it’s chocolate brown and I love the wide leg trousers so just bought an oatmeal coloured hoody to go with them.

And as mentioned above, it’s the perfect travelling outfit!

I saw someone wearing this yesterday (fairly certain). She was young and looked reasonably nice in it, but I thought the colour was awful, but that is entirely subjective. It would be absolutely fine for in the house and at a pinch, for nipping out to the shops imo, but I think there may be better out there.

I wear mine to and from the gym, not to exercise in. But every item of gym wear that I own contains lots of man made fabric. it’s breathable and stretchy.

The snobbery around any man made fabric on mn makes me roll my eyes laugh.

OP I love a co-ord (I await the ire that that term provokes) for at home, popping to the shops, wfh. I hate that colour you linked to though sorry but that’s just me.

Personally I think most jeans are far scruffier than a lot of co-ords. But then I don’t really wear jeans as I think they are unimaginative and uncomfortable.

I ordered a set from Matalan in the hope they are as lovely as my Asda pyjamas. Not to be worn outside the house (trousers aside for an emergency dash to the shop) but for actual pyjamas.

I love having a shower or a bath early evening at the weekend and then putting my pyjamas on. Sleeping in them depends how warm I'm feeling when it's bedtime.

Put them on (or keep them on) first thing in the morning before it's time to get dressed for the day.

The idea is fine but I'm really not liking the Kardashian colours.

ive never seen a matching set that is not chavvy tbh.
Wear a big sweatshirt and leggings. Or a nice jogger and a long sleeve slubby tee, that don’t match. Definitely preferable imo!

I’m 5 foot 7 with a 32 inch inside leg too and today I bought the M&S navy lounge set with the wide leg trousers in standard length. I tried on both the long and standard because I often fall between the two, but felt the long would get wet immediately if I went outside.
