Yes or no to lounge sets?

This would be for mainly wearing in the house, but might pop to the shops in it. It's not the sort of thing I usually go for but thought it would look better than pyjamas when someone pops round unexpectedly, or when I want to be comfy at home but still look stylish enough to have a guest round.

Are they stylish or are they tacky? I'm 53 if that's relevant? https://www.marksandspencer.com/modal-blend-sandwash-cropped-sweatshirt/p/clp61227265

Thank you that’s really kind. Yes it’s the logo I don’t want. I love a good logo, especially retro and limited edition sportswear etc but I don’t always want to be in that mode, just casual , cosy , smart and a bit contemporary , not too old raver (my default setting 🤣)

I’m the opposite - I avoid items displaying a logo. Sometimes difficult particularly handbag manufacturers who stick a big logo on the front.

I hate logo bags!

What do you all think of wide legged velvet pull on trousers instead of joggers? I've returned the dark brown joggers and light coloured top as didn't like the quality. Instead I have bought some velvet trousers with an elasticated waist in chocolate brown and am going to team them with the brown sweatshirt. I've order a fluffy knitted jumper in cream to wear with the joggers instead of the matching sweatshirt. Thoughts? I think it looks good, is comfy and I could pop out to the supermarket without needing to change. I could also dress the trousers up with a blouse and heels if I choose so more value for money?

OP, does the fluffy jumper “moult”? With some fluffy jumpers you’ll end up with fluffy joggers.

I know what you mean, but no, I don't think it does as it's not wool so no loose hairs as I have a similar one already which is fine.

I bought a lovely pale pink fluffy v neck side split jumper in Tescos last night to wear with leggings at home, 25% off at the moment, so £20

I would wear them but probably to go out to a restaurant / pub rather than to sit around at home or Tesco. I think they would be nice with a soft sweater. Not sure on footwear though.

I just think they are completely versatile- comfy enough for lounging, could dress up with heels and blouse, or wear with dark brown suede trainers and a cashmere sweater.
