As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Hope your fragrance gets sorted @IlovePond and for neck cream, I alternate Prai and Elemis. Two weeks each, otherwise they both start to pill but this seems to work for me.

I've tried several and nothing beats Trinny Elevator so far. It definitely makes more of a difference than using face creams etc, if I go away and don't use it for a week it really makes a difference. And given I've lost 8 stone, I'm really pleased with how my neck/jawline is looking thanks to it

I must get round to buying this. It's been on my wishlist for ages. Someone else said the Sisley one was good.

I’ve just had a very jolly day at Jarrold’s with the East Anglian fans of Trinny London.

We got colour matched to the new foundation drops, and there was a freebie with a spend of £70 or more. And lots of free samples!

And then I got home to my replacement Liberty AC items.

I accidentally signed up to French Sephora when trying to scan my English card. Do you think I will be able to merge my French points onto my English card?

No is my guess but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have a feeling all the Sephora's are separate companies under one brand hence the difference in rewards programmes, advent calendar offerings etc.

In other news, my holy-grail lip balm that I've used for over 20 years is recently failing me! I am usually a die-hard Blistex intensive moisturiser girl, and lately my lips have been dry and sore.

I used some Laneige last night which seems to have worked to ease it a bit, but that's upstairs and I am not! A Kiehl's lip balm isn't doing much.

So that's a pain in the bum...

I detest when creams pil so potentially might just go for the Trinny one, if that's the only one that doesn't. And Selfridges sell it, and I have been considering their BAC... no come on, seriously. Who needs 7 BACs?

I love the Trinny Elevator @DidILeaveTheGasOn I've have used it for over a year now and I really rate it!

Another vote for Trinny Elavator ( although I need to use it regularly!), def helps!

@TragicMuse I alternate with Carmex (pot not tube) and the blistex in a tube. Welda Skin food cream seemed to solve many dry skin problems last year in case you have one of those somewhere - it’s in a lot of kits.

very average ones were Nivea, malin and goetz and omorivca (sp?). I decanted those into pots with the end of lipsticks for a tinted lip balm.

I really rate the Patchology Rosé Lips Hydrating Lip Sleeping Mask.

I’ve gone from having 0 Ilia Lip Sketches to 6 Ilia Lip Sketches very swiftly 🫣 I do love them though. The GWP today was the kick I needed to buy the last two I wanted.

I also found that Prai pulls plus did zilch.

I’m the Sisley neck cream fan. Absolutely love it. Have not tried Trinny yet but have one ready to go next. I hope it’s as good as Sisley - it’s a lot cheaper!

The aquaphor works better than anything else ive ever tried if youre after a new one. Its lanolin based though which some people dont like

Thanks. I bought another eyeshadow stick. I love those. I didn't go crazy though. Just bought the eye stick and a pencil sharper to make it up to free postage.

I love the nuxe lip balm in a jar. Always have tubes of burts bees around too. Apart from the mint one which I don’t like.

I've found a vaseline tin in my drawers, the one with Aloe. And a LK Bruket one for my bag. I'll see how those go.

I've got a Lanolips lurking somewhere, and a Burt's Bees.

I found the Prai gold pilled but the Prai normal doesn’t. Next stop for me is adding in the ROC retinol neck stick 1-2x per week to see if that does anything!

PS also a Nuxe in the jar fan!

There's the U beauty neck cream in the Harrods advent this year, has retinol. I've been using it for a few days, not super thick more lotion, spreads nice and absorbs well or dries well. No idea how effective but no reaction from the retinol after approx 4-5 uses.
