Is this outfit too much for the office?

Is this too much to wear to the office? I wore it with a belt so wondering if I was over dressed?

Looks lovely to me, I don't think it's too much for work. Depends on your office I guess. I would have poured coffee down it within 5 minutes!

Depends on your office, but in general it's a pretty simple/classic dress.

In twenty odd years of working, I don't think I have ever seen anyone wear a pure white dress to the office.

Sorry it reminds me of a lab coat like a scientist would wear.

All white is an odd choice to wear for a full working day and you would stand out, and probably have some awful stain before too long so in that sense not the best choice

Where did you get such a smashing lab coat from? I especially like the buttons on the pockets to stop items from falling in and out.

I'm a tad puzzled as to why there's buttons on the sleeves. You're not meant to roll your sleeves up in the lab.

Depends where you work. I’ve worn a white shirt dress to the office before, with a scarf belt. Ignore the lab coat jibes, some people have no imagination.

Would look fine with a tan belt imho.

It looks like a nightie or a beach dress, is it see through?. Not sure that 'too much' or 'overdressed' is an issue.
