New thread and it's welcome to the roaring twenties beauty addicts!

It's been a little quiet on the exciting edit and beauty releases front what with all the advent malarky but summer is drawing to a close and soon those autumn/winter releases and holiday edits will be popping up to tempt us.

@OvaHere I binned two practically unused Perricone MD lipsticks last night, both the same shade (whyyy???) They aren't a good colour for me, I have no idea how old they are and I suspect I bought them online because I went through a phase of using their skincare and it was some kind of offer. And I have at least 10, probably 20 other lipsticks that I like better.

@SheilaFentiman - I have far far too many lipsticks and glosses and need to do the same! I got a lot in edits/boxes then bought loads myself!

I have a bad habit of reaching for the same two or three lip products all the time and need to start using all the other lovely things I have rather than ‘saving them for best’!

I have all the produxts I currently use in my bathroom cabinet. My stash is in one very big drawer in the living room.

Ive used old giftboxes as open baskets and put all the stuff in it per category. So my haircare is in one box, cleansers and bodywashes in another one. My mini's are in my holiday pouch next to them for my travela.

All my perfumes are in my bedroom. I got all the drawers of a previous advent out (used them as Vinted packaging) and use the box and its skeleton as shelves. In the smaller ones i put my miniatures in. The bigger drawers stacked with perfume.

Stuff like fragrance sticks, roomsprays etc i have in my kitchen cabinet. The ones i currently use are in the living room.

If I notice I have too many items of the same product ill check the ingredients again and will sell off the products that are probably too harsh etc.. perfume wise, if I dont reach for it after a few months its time to go. Ill sell it off

I’ve been rediscovering some of my old lip products recently. Since losing weight and getting a bit of a tan some colours I never reached for (like Westman Atelier Minx) really work. It’s so nice to be able to ‘shop’ my own stash.

@Addictedtobeauty I saw the Tatcha event. I don't think this one is worth it compare to the January lucky bag one. I'm not spending £100 for 2 minis or £200 for 4 minis.

Far better to use that money for the upcoming SpaceNK gwp - which I'm not planning to get either but it's a better use of £200.

Another disappointing £10 Tuesday to my eye, although I did pick up the Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo + Conditioner for £20. I have several shampoos and conditioners on the go at the moment which are close to an end, so I thought I’d give it a try!

Cult Beauty have 20% off (almost) everything. I haven’t been able to get it to stack with any codes yet. They also have a choice of two GWPs with a £150 spend. These look like old GWPs they’re reusing. The Sunny Days one seems to date from last year.

john Lewis have a free make up brush with purchase of Estee Lauder double wear foundation and there is also 25% off EL on JL at the moment.

I had a colour match for the foundation weekend before last at one of the EL department store counters, and they gave me a mini sample (10 days worth apparently). Also did my makeup and advised me not to buy anything until the end of August when there will be a GWP offer. I guess the 25% off might still be running at end of August, but decided to go with the above offer for now. The foundation is a good match and I have never had a beauty counter makeover before so went for it, but not sure if even double wear is a match for my peri men, sweaty T zone!

Very have some Gatineau edits and an Iconic London one for fairly reasonable prices. I don't know of any working codes though:

Quick update on my vinted scam - unfortunately vinted's investigation decided that I hadn't secured the package (despite the package being intact in the delivery photo) and therefore it is my fault that the eye cream 'fell out'. They will not pay me for the eye cream and won't investigate any further despite me providing evidence that there was nothing wrong with it when it arrived to her house. Everything time I try to raise it, they close the conversation down, they no longer even reply to me. So just seems that vinted supports scammers. The tramp has the money and the eye cream 😡 Last week, the vinted scams and lack of customer service was on BBC and itv, so I wasn't expecting much.

It's really frustrating that I can't seem to properly use my eBay account as I keep saying about selling off some of my advent calendar products but all of this just puts me off.

Fairy says they may be getting Sunny Days. They’ll post on the Community if they do.
