It's been a little quiet on the exciting edit and beauty releases front what with all the advent malarky but summer is drawing to a close and soon those autumn/winter releases and holiday edits will be popping up to tempt us.

My neom candle has been dispatched 🥳

That’s a bit drastic! You’ll single-handedly bring down half of the retailers and courier companies 🤣🤣

I wouldn’t mind waiting a month for my remaining SNK candles as long as they arrive, they are for Christmas gifts anyway. It’d just worry that they don’t come and I’ll forget all about them and not chase my refund

I have just had dispatch emails for my missing Space NK candles, thought I ordered two but appears it may have been three. Will go in the cupboard for some Christmas presents.

Good! Late to the party but I was going to say, with distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days for no reason so they could not have insisted you wait a month. Bit concerning really that they're trying that.

My neom candle is on its way too. I really wasn’t expecting that….. I wonder if they found another box in the warehouse?

My candle is also on the way. How strange! Not complaining though.

I returned two Neom candles… perhaps they’ve been repurposed! They were imperfect though. Wouldn’t ordinarily bother me except I bought them as gifts.

🤣 I was maybe a bit too hasty. It's not fair to punish myself and the couriers.

My complaint with Primark was resolved yesterday. My click and collect order had been delayed, then arrived into store at 1:30pm on Thursday then I received a message yesterday saying that as I'd not picked it up it that they were sending it back. Obviously I kicked off that they had given me less than 24 hours to collect on a date that I'd not selected and I had a vets appointment so couldn't make it to store after work. Anyway, after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, it seems it hadn't been sent back and that had been sent in error so I was able to go collect it last night.

My Spacenk order of the neom candle is arriving today. No idea now what is happening with the dry shampoo, I still want to try it and it's still in stock in the sale. I might email them.

Vinted and evri are annoying me. Vinted are saying it's my fault that the eye cream just fell out of the packaging whereas evri are saying it arrived intact but won't put it in writing as the call centre can't send out emails 😮‍💨 if anyone has an email address for their customer service, please send me it. I know it's only £20 but it's my AC fund, so v important. It's the difference between 3 or 4 calendars 🙈

I think Space NK are utterly chaotic at the moment, the dr jart body lotion I was told was oos yesterday is still in stock and clearly the neom candle is just pot luck whether you actually receive it or not. So unimpressed.

I got an email reply from Spacenk asking if my items were missing from the parcel or just not despatched yet. The app isn't great though as it shows the whole order as awaiting despatch, but I've received part of the order 🤔

My LiB k and j box has turned up and Im so pleased with it.

My candle didn't come with my Space NK order either. Yesterday I had a "dispatched" email but the tracking says "Your order will ship soon." Let's hope so.

I think it was here that people mentioned the candle warmers - do these help if candles burning gives you a headache please? I bought a beautiful margarita scented candle but it's giving me a headache 😣

Noticed the https://www.facethefuture.co.uk/products/the-summer-saviours-edit has a £10 discount with code SUMMER from the Beauty Detective's website. The edit has the MZ SKIN Bio-Placenta Hyaluronic Acid Serum which is worth the edit at least twice over so I was instantly sold. I'm a little apprehensive of winter this year having experienced dry skin for the first time in my life last winter, aged 41. Hoping to have different things to try in the stash by then.

FTF also have a bundle of 3 mystery edits. If you get that and the Summer Saviours edit with the £10 off and throw in another small item you also get to choose a free gift and pick up their little GWP.

I am going to have to build an extension for my stash.........

I am not sure and may depend on what is triggering, I find the scent more intense when using mine and only use it for short periods as smells can trigger me.

I think someone identified the contents of the hydration edit which is part of the mega bundle. If mine arrives before the contents are identified I'll post them.

Incidentally, the mystery item must have changed - it was £20, worth £95 and was the Omorovicza body serum, but its now £15 worth £85 - not sure what it is. I would have bought again as I like the serum.

@MotherofTerriers Thank you! I was tempted by the hydration edit but I can even begin to imagine what the item in the box would be - I’ll see if I can find the info about it.

@Thelifeofawife I think the box in the hydration edit might be Germaine de cappuccini ampoules. They were in another edit - I ended up with 3 of them, tried one - it was ok but no better than the serum I usually use, ended up giving one to my daughter. I'm guessing that the box in the wellness bundle is ancient and brave collagen.

It was who got /posted the contents of the hydration edit previously. It's:

• Votary super renewal serum 30ml
• Renew Me face mask with peptides and collagen
• Germaine de Capuccini Expert Lab Tec-Exosome Intensive Hydro-Regenerating Treatment 7 x 2ml

Defintely tempted by the trio bundle etc, but do NOT need that much more stuff 😂

I did also get the LiB K+J edit too (didn't get the tiktok offer), and also very pleased with that one.

I'm using the A&B collagen at the moment. I got it in one of their other boxes. I'm impressed with it. It's the first collagen powder that hasn't gone lumpy when I add it to warm drinks.
