I think the coin purse is leather which is what makes it expensive but the Le Pliage XS pouch in nylon would be a lot more usable even though it's cheaper. You can get a phone in this one.

I might, but haven’t decided yet. Feeling a bit uninspired this year (partly because I already have too much stuff to use!).

Vogue is more expensive, but I don’t think the difference is that huge considering that it contains jewellery, and the other luxury calendars are now in the £275-£285 range. The difference used to be bigger, but they’ve all gone up, and I don’t think that Vogue has changed their price. I remember not so long ago, Space NK used to be £165!

Looks like M&S have significantly hiked the price this year too. Less choice for people on a budget, although H&B have managed to keep theirs at £50. I wonder whether M&S will have more full sizes.

I'm not getting the Vogue calendar (I like the little purse but I don't wear silver jewellery), but I love the box so much that I'll definitely be looking out for an empty one on eBay after Christmas 😀

I have preordered Vogue as like the little purse and the jewellery and enough other things in it for me, think I have beauty fatigue.

However another on my buy list is Glossbox, scentsavvy has confirmed it will £90 and £75 for subscribers, realise date for subscribers is 27th which is 24hr before general release

I need to revisit the Vogue contents. I've just ordered Anthropologie as it has some decent basics and things I can gift, it has the M&G strawberry oil which swung it with the £10 intro discount. I use SPF all year as I'm blue 😄 so I'll get the use out of those.

The Vogue one looks interesting, they won’t ship to me but I could pick up some bits from eBay.
Has anyone used a Therabody wand? I could use one today thanks to the mozzie bite on my cheek that has made my under eye all swollen! Maybe that’s why I think it could be a interesting calendar…

Possibly SpaceNK - if the early leak was correct. Not confirmed yet I think.

I did a bit of research into it as I really like the Caudalie eye cream at the moment which has a built in metal end for depuffing.

Reviews seem mixed. Some people love it and others say it drags on the skin (so might need to be used with a layer of serum). Most have noted that the cold setting does warm up a bit after a few minutes use.

Despite the price Vogue have put against it you can buy it discounted everywhere at the moment for £99.

Very Excited about Goossybox, and oooh that's next week (28th). Last year's box still sits on a table in my hallway with a lamp on top. Makes me smile every time I go past it.

Soooo much to look forward to. I think that's the draw for me. The excitement of them arriving, the anticipation of opening. Imagining dark frosty mornings, cup of tea in hand, fire on, candle lit, opening those first doors (weekend days, obviously, not quite so romanticised on a school morning stressed to hell and running out of the door with one shoe on!)

I feel so irritated that we’ve still only got partial spoilers for so many calendars.

It’s only August. Normal people are still in summer mode 🤣

Same! So many have revealed a few spoilers and then it seems like they've buggered off on holiday 😡 they'll all probably be revealed on the same day, which is annoying. They need to speak to each other and come up with a decent timeline, we'll help 🤣

I like the Boots Luxe one. Like Fenwick it appeals but I have trouble justifying it as a purchase. Although Boots is towards the cheaper end compared to Fenwick.

I think I'd rather have the Fenwick's, for an extra £100, you can have all that fragrance too 😍

I had a similar feeling when I read the ‘closing now’ email. But it doesn’t inspire sufficient joy to actually press ‘buy now’.

I briefly wondered if it was me, but then realised that the beauty world is failing us! 😊

I went through the Liberty contents again yesterday and decided it wasn’t for me, however this morning on my train journey I went through Fenwick and decided I did want it as would keep over half the value of it and will look to sell the bits I don’t want from it.

I am wobbling on the Liberty a/c but I really want to know if they are doing a men’s version and what that would be like so didn’t crack yesterday.

The women’s a/c was still available in October last year so I am not expecting it to sell out as soon as it goes on general sale.

However, even if I am wrong. I don’t really care. If I didn’t have all that BD credit I wouldn’t even be thinking about getting it 🙈

Agree. I think it's have the £25 discount plus £200 in vouchers that's causing the angst. I just keep reminding myself I can use the vouchers to buy individual things I like more. The value is only there if I want the stuff!
