Me too. And I know it's only August, but the fact is lots go on sale really quite soon and this dripfeed of contents means it's really difficult to make a realistic comparison. I guess this marketing strategy must work with gen Z etc but it is really putting me off.

Did anyone see the story on Instagram of the girls who won the Space NK prize yesterday? They looked about 14. I understand that shops seem to be targeting that demographic now but it gives me the ick. They don't need retinol and heavy skincare and make-up.

Speaking of Oh My Cream - I didn’t realise they had a shop in Shoreditch. It’s tiny, and the very large security guard followed me round whilst glaring at me with suspicion - I won’t be rushing back!

Yes, very excited to see what's in this. I really like some of the brands they stock (violette, VB) and I've been very happy with orders from them so far. The price is reasonable too, depending on the contents of course!

Is that a pottery cupboard in the advert? Strange way of marketing it. I don't need reminding that I'll be cooking later 🤣🤣

I would love to know if Liberty have met their target for pre-orders of the a/c and how sales compare with last year’s.

When you consider that last year’s calendar had the full size AB eye cream, the ELewisham serum and the La Mer lip balm, (not that I could use the latter - someone got a huge bargain on eBay), this year’s doesn’t compare for me.

@owlpassport I was in Superdrug yesterday and a very young girl was asking the assistant for the skincare. Assistant asked her what kind of skincare and how old she was - the answer was 6!!

Assistant kindly and rightly proceeded to say that she didn't need much stuff as her skin was so young - I didn't see where they went but hopefully the little girl got directed to some lip balm and maybe a bit of glitter!

Yes - I really dislike these ranges aimed at pre teens.

I saw that and thought the same. I remember just being happy with a flavored lip balm and the odd crappy face mask😂

I’m on holiday in France and saw an actual ‘Oh my Cream’ shop … my other half said ‘what an unusual name’ or words to that effect!

So excited to receive mine now
