I’ve just had the following Response from Liberty AI.

[AI] You will still receive your Beauty Drop discount on the advent calendar if you order after the pre-order period has ended. As long as you are eligible and redeem the benefit correctly, the £25 discount applies to one calendar each year, regardless of whether you purchase during pre-order or general sale.

@fillybuster the email doesn't say that it's the last time you can have BD discount, just that it's the last time to pre-order before it goes on general sale to everyone. I don't think you need to panic buy. If you are concerned though, maybe give their CS a call?

Same, I do wish that the medik8 product was one of the new serums, but I haven't tried the moisturiser that's included so it's still a new product 🥰 The AoS serum and WA mascara are definitely the stand outs for me.

Looking again at the Fenwick list, it isn’t a bad calendar. It has the full sized Thameen, full sized Rodial eye gel, 30ml Elemis worth £66, full sized Clinique serum and Neal’s Yard face oil, full sized Nars blush and lots of fragrances including the Diptyque which you rarely see in calendars. The AB products are small but at least you get to try both the eye cream and the serum. It is one I might recommend to a friend of mine who loves trying fragrances but only gets one calendar so doesn’t get separate fragrance and beauty ACs. Think it would be the best fit for her

Yeah, vinted is going to be flooded with CB AC makeup 🤣 I sometimes just use one side of the blush, so recently I've just been using the cream, you could do that if you're worried it's too intense for you? Or just sell and replace it with a different one. They should include she's seductive, I do already have that one but I think it would suit most people and is a lot more subtle and prettier. I find it strange that the lip pencil doesn't match the lipstick (imo). But I quite like the look of the rms and by Terry products.

I think GB looks good, but I'd like to get Harrods bac too. I feel like my plan to only get 1 BAC is looking unlikely 🙈

Oh pants!! I’m away until 31st and house isn’t empty, but no one will be there during the day. That’s super annoying. I’ll message their customer service team to see if they can delay sending it out.

Sounds like the Liberty calendars are being delivered so we should have a few unboxing videos pop up in the next few days 😃

I'm bored with waiting for full reveals so I'm going to go with Harrods BAC. A chat with the AI bot concluded that given my preferences and that I'm using tret (so don't want too many things that will clash with that) it's the best value for me - just the three outrageously expensive eye creams and the C Tetra are worth buying it for.

However, I might also pick up the one fron Marks and save it for Jadvent. Hopefully Liberty will do another scent edit before Christmas (I seem to recall they did one last year that was good) and I can use my BD funds on that. And I could be tempted by a good discount after Christmas because I have no willpower - still sad that I missed the legendary Elemis bargain!

In case not obvious from the above, I had already placed my order for the Liberty BAC. Not a panic buy, other than not wanting to miss the BD discount. But annoyed about the risk of delivery whilst I’m away. Luckily my dps are just down the road, so I’ll ask them to rescue it if Liberty CS can’t delay shipping.

I quite like Fenwicks, but my favourite, (not quite the right word as I don’t ‘love’ it), is still Harrods.

I wish Liberty would say if they are doing a men’s calendar this year - I am still not really liking the women’s one.

Lisa Potter Dixon has just posted her Liberty BAC delivery (no full unboxing yet) - she was also sent a beautiful Liberty print camera!

I've gone ahead and pre-ordered the Harrods BAC. I decided late last year I wanted it, and it had already sold out, so decided to just get the order in this year. It does have a few things I know I like and will use, and others I want to try. And a handful I'll stick on Vinted (and use any money receieved to buy odds and ends I want from other calendars!). I'm much more interested in skincare than makeup and fragrance - but do like trying the odd thing.

I do have budget for more than one, so Elle is definitely still on the list. And would also very much like other calendars to stop with the hints and spoilers and just tell us all the contents already 😂

I'm hoping mine comes tomorrow when I'm in..a bit crap you can't choose a delivery day given the ££

Really Ree has also received her liberty, so we should get some unboxings soon 🤞🏻 maybe even today

I am still interested in Cult Beauty & Elle.

I went through my skincare etc box yesterday and most of the box was empty toiletries bags, power cables and adapters. I have used 173 products since the beginning of November last year and that box was very full at the time. I feel much more justified in buying multiple BACs now.

That, and I asked my other half specifically for a couple of things in the BF sales last year, and he bought me eight pairs of socks. My birthday is early November so there are lots of offers on and I'm easy to shop for. Nope.

If anyone is considering the Liz Earle advent or 12 days calendar. Look fantastic currently have a summer GWP that stacks with them and if you use our friend Mary’s code BDLF it reduces the price too.

I’m going for the 12 days which reduces from £79 to £62 plus the gwp which seems like a great offer to try these products.

I hope so! I'm looking forward to seeing it unboxed so I can get a better idea of what's in it. I never seem to take things in properly when they're just written down. Im so excited for unboxings I've been watching last years to see what I missed 😂
