Here's hoping for lots more spoilers, bargains, discount codes, and maybe a little self-control (although that's already gone for some 😄)

II’ll be getting it for Ex Nihilo too. At £399 it is still a good value but I have some reservations regarding sizes, not all appear to be correct on BD website (no offence Mary!).
FDB Patchouli 30ml (listed as full size value),
Bibbi 30ml,
V Canto looks tiny 15-20ml (listed as full size value)
and same for New Notes Cherry Latte looks 15ml.
Big ticket items Ormande Jayne 100ml, Ex Nihilo 50ml and Thameen 50ml (terrible resale value).
The rest look 8-10ml travel sprays.
£400 is absolute max that they could’ve charged for it.

Is it bugging anyone else that £399 seems odd for Selfridges when the BAC always seems to be a round number - i.e. £250. It doesn’t feel like Selfridges but maybe I’m just in denial.

We don't actually know yet what it is. So far it's just a rumour. More expensive than Harrods wouldn't surprise me but who knows? It's the first year they've done this.

I'm secretly thankful if this is the price as if it were around the 250 mark I was definitely going to try and i definitely don't need it!!

Yep, I wouldn't mind so much if it was more often with reveals quicker but now I'm just over it 🤣 I usually enjoy the mystery and challenge but I'm like just give me the list now 😡

Yes, and the stupid marketing is totally off putting (looking at you SNK) and the lacklustre products in the CB have killed any excitement for those. It has to be stellar for me to want it.

In fact, i did a run down on edits and boxes from last year and honestly, they were a lot better to my liking. Especially the John Lewis Edits/ crackers and the Selfridges perfume edit feom last year.

Ill probably pivot to those instead.

Only both LF and GB for me now. And waiting for the full reveals of those.

And of course the Hareoda and Selfrisgws FAC, as if lol

The others have to be heavily discounted for me to buy them.

Yes, i'm totally bored by the spoilers, the whole point of an advent is the gradual reveal when you own it, not when you're trying to decide which one to buy. It's so frustrating and I wish they'd stop.

I may do something like this for DS and DSD, because they don’t open ACs every day due living between 2 houses, so this would be a good way to do it 😊

I have a couple of Paul & Joe dresses fron way back @Sminty2 - I didn't even know they were still going, let alone did makeup and whatnot! Every day's a school day

I am starting to want the Selfridge's FAC more and more and I hardly even wear perfume, but the descriptions sound so lovely. I've decided to brave Oxford Street on Saturday morning and go on a tester spree (plus I can try the bee venom stuff in a crowded place just to be on the safe side) 😀

I wish they would get on with the full reveals of all the advents too. SNK are being very annoying with the build up to theirs. Have you seen the silly ‘advent calendar thief’ advert? 😐
And I wish Selfridges would just put us out of our misery and give us an idea of price and release date for the FAC. Getting impatient now!

Fenwick is a Flat No from me. I love Fenwick with all my heart (I live in Newcastle and it's always been an integral part of my life. I get excited to see Fenwick Christmas window every year and have done for 50 years, but that's a massively disappointing BAC)

BAC fatigue is definitely setting in this year. Not a bad thing in many ways. That said, I am still all over GB, Neom and probably a host of others that are still to come.

I've had an email from liberty to say my BAC has been despatched..how exciting! Hoping it arrives Friday when I am in. Don't want them to leave this one behind our rickety gate!

Well they can FAC off at that price. I’ve got Harrods in the bag, so I’ll wait and see if SNK do one this year.

I'm so fed up of waiting for advents I bought my Christmas candles direct from Voluspa. I bought the Noble Fir Garland which I adored last year and also Gingerbread Chalet. A bit premature maybe but they are harder to get near Christmas.

Then because they're shipping from the US and min spend is quite high I threw in a Tomato Trellis one, which I'll save until spring next year. I've been wanting a tomato candle ever since I smelt the Loewe one in Liberty.

Code EQ10 took about £11 off just in case anyone else is planning to buy. (Not trying to be an enabler here - do not buy candles you didn't want 5 minutes ago 😂)

I’ve bought in the past, but the make up is not for my olive skin. The other items are usually really tiny as well. But they do make beautiful advents.
Edited to add that the lipsticks are amazing. Quite possibly the best ever.

I was leaning towards the Fenwick AC but have just seen that the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is bright red. I can’t wear bright red and tbh, I’d rather the ubiquitous Pillow Talk than that.

They sell tomato vine candles in various sizes at Daylesford - I bought one there a few weeks ago.
I’ve just noticed they are on offer at Ocado.
