Any ideas to make huge boobs look smaller!

I’ve just bought a lovely dress fora wedding in Italy in September but my huge boobs look terrible.
has anyone tried a minimizer. Bra?

I was wearing a 40 f bra when I went to see a specialist bra fitter, she said my correct size was a 36 H, she demonstrated with me trying on the size, lean forward and manually pull what we " call back fat" forward and it really made a difference.
I bought new bras but they are so tight * they need to be worn in.. but I can't do the buggers up!
Sat in the drawer so that's why women wear the wrong size for comfort!

Rather than waste the money if you can’t return them, buy a back extender which will cost a lot less than new ones.

If you can wear an open jacket over your dress, it will really disguise your bust. Ideally it should cut down the centre of your bust in a vertical line.

Diet (/MJ) plus running. Get a good bra for running. Hope you aren't someone who only loses boob weight last.

Perhaps the dress just isn’t right for you?

As @marriednotdead says, wearing an open jacket creating vertical lines really de-emphasises your bust.

V neckline rather than high or round neck, with shaping at the waist, and fairly simple styles with small/no pattern, all help too. And wearing colours that really suit you is also good.

Such an unhelpful post and stupid post. The OP didn’t say she was overweight or want to diet. She didn’t say she was looking for a sports bra. And no need for the jibe about hoping she wasn’t someone who would close booby wright last.

it sounds counter intuitive but my bust looks smaller in a bra that pushes them together out front . Crossover type style is best for this imo

What’s the neckline, OP? There may be a way of styling it so it flatters rather than exaggerates.

Tbf 60% of British adult women are overweight. Those that are very large of breast are rarely outside of this category. So it is likely that OPs breast size is partly due to being overweight.

It’s possible that she’s not, but unlikely.

try this bra - it lifts and supports in a way that gives a slimmer silhouette than a minimiser which pushes boobs to the side and widens you. prima donna Madison full cup. link below has some in sale cos it ain't cheap but v well worth it imo.

Oh ffs. Who do you think you are? It’s entirely reasonable to suggest losing weight; is it stupid to suggest wearing black on the off-chance the OP doesn’t like black?

There's only so much a bra can do if the dress isn't flattering on a large bust. At 30FF I've never had much luck with minimisers but a very well fitted underwired bra will help.

There’s a big difference between suggesting someone wears black and suggesting someone diet and go buy a running bra, when they weren’t asking advice on dieting. And you know that.

I ha the same but I found after wearing them for a couple of days there was a bit of give in them.

It's worth a bit of early discomfort as I found my boobs looked smaller, they were higher up, so made my clothes look better as I had correct support.

Had same problem with a dress gaping today. Bravissimo were very helpful but it didnt make much difference. Neither did a minimiser I tried in john lewis.

My boobs ruined all outfits and made exercise a misery 😥 breast reduction at 40 was the best money I ever spent by a very long way.

I wear M&S minimiser bras sometimes. They flatten your boobs by spreading them out more, so they're not ideal for very fitted things as they don't give a very pleasing shape/outline. I'd suggest trying one on with the dress if you can, to see whether you like the look of it. On the plus side, they are comfortable and supportive.

I find a plunge bra can be better with a low cut dress as that narrows your boobs downwards.

I'd try a few different bra styles and see what looks best.

You also could experiment with wearing something over the dress to break up the 'expanse of boob' - bolero, shrug, shawl.

Personally would not wear a jacket to hide boobs. It just looks like you're wearing a jacket to hide something. And it hides nothing. Just makes you look like a block sideways on.

Square lowish necklines always flatter, or soft cowl necklines. Low scoop or low v necks too.

IME the description 'low' v neck hardly ever is low enough and i spend a lot of time trawling reviews and looking at 'real buyers' photos.

She didn’t say she wanted or needed to lose weight.
