Any ideas to make huge boobs look smaller!

I’ve just bought a lovely dress fora wedding in Italy in September but my huge boobs look terrible.
has anyone tried a minimizer. Bra?

With a size 8 pelvis, you are extremely unlikely to take a 36 strap. I am wearing size 14 trousers and take a 32 strap.

Get refitted at an independent bra fitter, the kind staffed by no-nonsense older ladies who make you stand topless whilst they walk around you and then they go out of the fitting room and come back with a fistful of bras to try. A properly fitting bra on its own may make your breasts look right inside the dress.

Good luck! One thing I have learned is that you need different bras for different clothing, so don't feel it's extravagant to have a large bra collection, or (if you can afford it) spending money on bras that work for you.

The other thing to bear in mind is that not all 36Gs or 30H or 32DD are the same shape and different styles work better for different shapes of boob. Update I went to bravissamo not really sure how good an experience the very young woman had only been working there one month. So I’ve bought a fantasy bra 32G so a big change from the size I had . I’ll try the dress with it . Thankyou all for the insights and advice !

How does that bra fit? I am a bit surprised this was the size you were fitted. 32 back size sounds possible, but going from 36GG to 32G is actually several cup sizes down, your old bras would have been half-empty.

I’m 4’11”, a size 10, and wear a 32G bra.

The big bust makes me look like Nurse Gladys Emmanual. It ain’t a good look.
I hate it. I’m saving up for a breast reduction.

The only thing that worker for mine was a boob reducer bra, proper squashed them in. It was so restrictive but fine for an event

Look, you're a size 8 and a 32G so you have an amazing figure. Most people would kill for a figure like that. If your dress looks terrible then send it back. There are billions of dresses in the world there is absolutely no point getting one that doesn't suit your shape and trying to flatten your breasts with stupid minimiser bras. If you dont know what type of dresses suit your shape there are so many brilliant videos on you tube and insta that can help. Don't try and make a dress fit just because you like the dress. Get a dress that makes you look amazing.

I don’t think they would to be honest, I’m sure she looks great but for me that would be difficult to dress, and look out of proportion

Fascinating discussion. It's really striking that women who are not afflicted by large boobs, especially when they are out of proportion to the rest of your body, not only don't understand the problems they present in finding flattering outfits, but can also blithely suggest that the problem can be solved by losing weight!

OP, I totally understand your dilemma, I hope this thread has been useful for you and that you look fab at the wedding. For me, I've just spent £85 on bras thanks to the website above!! Large bras are often really expensive so it's great to find a good sale, just hope they fit...

I remember reading years ago a 'sad face' sort of story in 'Take A Break' or similar about a completely flat chested woman who was desperate for breast enlargement. She eventually persuaded a doctor to refer her to have this done on the NHS (claiming it was affecting her self-esteem, mental health etc.) and was duly given large, buoyant, 'Page 3' style boobs.

The 'sad face' story was because as soon as she had her boobs enlarged, it came as a shock to her that she could no longer fit into her size 8 tops, her teeny little strapless vests and so on. She very quickly regretted the surgery but the NHS was refusing to give her a reduction!

Haven’t read the whole thread but boobs can be squished in different ways.
I have a sports bra that gives a monoboob which is good for halter neck tops.
A minimiser tends to push them under your arms so it depends if the dress has room there. Sometimes it can look better.
I too have a Nurse Gladys Emmanuel 😃 “lift and separate” bra which I have to be careful with, they look firmer and higher but bigger. Like bowling balls. Fun!
Like others said you have a fantastic figure, hope you can find a bra but it might be that the lovely dress doesn’t quite work with your girls.
