The end of summer lies ahead, but we're hoping for more bling!

A last summery skirt <sighs with regret> from Mary. This is the kind of look I think she does really well. I'd lose the strings at the waist, personally, but the unfussy white shirt is the perfect complement for the skirt.

Not sure about her glasses though. Perhaps too big and bold for her smallish face and quite delicate features, especially with her tied back?

Love it. Zimmermann, like Jetsun's dress. It's a lovely skirt and I like the pairing with the white shirt. Lovely sandals.

Mary looked very elegant at the funeral yesterday. Doesn't feel quite right to be commenting on funeral ensembles but there were some lovely jewels on display, some of which had poignant connections to King Harald. CPV was wearing a brooch he gave her as a confirmation present.

I noticed that.

I think Harald had a good farewell. I hope his family took comfort in the strength of support they had yesterday.

King Harald's sister, 94-year-old Princess Astrid was wearing three family honors, from her grandfather King Haakon VII, her father King Olav, and her brother. She was at all three of their funerals. To me, that was a very poignant sight.

Nice blue suit. I'm not keen about the lines down the front of the trousers, but otherwise very smart and appropriate.

I just wish William would get rid of the beard.

I quite like the front seams, but in my entirely subjective opinion that's a nasty shade of blue.

Can't remember what William looked like without a beard. He's either ageing well or just looks better since he started shaving his head. I don't pay enough attention to be sure why, but I have the impression that he's looked better in the last year or so.

Kate likes a bright trouser suit...she stands out in group photos. Im not a fan of the crease down the legs.
Im hoping for a few nice state visits and posh events to cheer up autumn.

In the last few years he's started to look more and more like Gareth Southgate!

There is a state visit in October, Oman.

The blue looks very different in the various pictures, although seems to be described as "teal".

Cathrine’s tailoring is always immaculate. I prefer William with a beard.

I like William's beard too, i think it works well if you are bald.
Catherine's suit is fine, but doesn't look teal to me in those photos. Its her usual fairly bland day wear.

He looks better with the beard but he's not my idea of hot at all.

I’m not a beard fan, but I do think that some men look good with one and Willam is one of those men imo
