Camilla has a dress/coat shape that works for her. The embroidery she uses to make them different works. I loved the large black blanket stitch and the embroidery on this outfit is much more delicate but still striking.

As a short woman I have come to realise unless you have tiny proportions like Kylie, being above average tall really makes a difference to how you wear clothes.

Love the white dress code for the Bayeaux Tapestry. Cam looking great.

I have a wedding in October if Camilla could chuck any odds and ends of bling my way! I assume previous gifts from Oman will be diplomatically worn.
I also lack height... model is size 10 and 5 ft 10 seems usual for online sites. Marie France looks good.

What's with all the white, ladies? None of these looks gets my heart racing. I think Camilla has worn that dress - or else one with similar embroidered motifs - before as I remember commenting that they were an attractive addition. I can appreciate Charlene's ensemble, although I do wish she'd gone all in and opted for pale buttons, but she wears so many pale outfits that it doesn't have the impact it might from someone else.

I'm afraid I don't like Marie-France's dress at all. It looks too long and too big.

Mme Macron was wearing a very tight red trouser suit today.

Found it. Je le trouve tres chic. I love the colour, it's definitely the best way to do double-breasted - and she's got the figure for un pantalon cigarette.

Tres chic but I think the collar on BM is a bit high for her.
I agree with @Cassiopethat MF’s dress was a wee bit too long and a wee bit too big. Otherwise a nice dress.

I like the colour. I also like the shape of the trousers, but not with those shoes. I personally don't like the boxy jacket, but she does go for that shape quite a lot.

Oh, not sure about the red suit. She looks a bit like she has escaped from an Austin Powers film.

I went to the Schiaparelli exhibition today and though the only royal link is that Wallis Simpson wore a version of the lobster dress, I thought you'd all like to see some photos. These are all pieces from the 1930s and the black velvet trousers suit was worn by Marlene Dietrich.

And some from the modern collection, you may recognise the red and pearl gowns from Ariana Grande at the Oscars last year.

I think that effect is emphasised by her rather sixties helmet hair as well! I do like the colour of the suit, though

I love it, @deeahgwitch! I found a skirt with lobsters on it a couple of years ago. Possibly inspired by the dress!

The caption noted that the lobster placement was quite racy. But that never stopped Wallis! She was a great clothes horse, I'll give her that. Her wedding dress was the epitome of elegance.

Not familiar with Austin Powers or the Thunderbirds. I just thought the image made a refreshing change from all the official photos, where she always seems to look miserable and somewhat uncomfortable. I was surprised to come across lots of photos in French media showing Brigitte Macron looking very stylish, as well as much more animated and confident. Completely different from the way she's always portrayed in this country, on engagements with the President.
