@Doglover73 the Skin Rocks eye cream? I was contemplating that one… but you don’t rate it?

I’m really liking the MZ pearlescent eye cream for daytime: it’s light and has a noticeably brightening effect. BoJ ginseng & retinol at night is also very good, fairly sure I will rp both. Although I’d like to try the medik8 retinal eye cream for night time too.

@Doglover73 I’m not convinced by that set being great value tbh. If it’s just the BoJ balm you want it might be worth checking TKMaxx and Vinted to see what it’s going for. Or add it to a SK order and get one of the new boxes from them : similar price. Way better value. And more exciting too!

Good to know, I just bought this as part of getting my £6 on £30 beauty Sparks reward!

I haven't bought that edit but if you can get a code to work to bring it down further I think it's quite good. The Dr Jart mask is a nice one as is the Haru Haru sunscreen.

The BoJ balm is a decent, does what it says on the tin, cleansing balm. I used one up a while back. I think they are fragrance free and I'm sure I found it to be similar to the Elf Holy Hydration, if you've ever used that one. I know lots of people appreciate fragrance free but I find them a bit boring so I'm not in a hurry to RP - that's a me thing though.

I think its ok but not worth the hype. Like the majority of stuff ive tried tbh 🤩🤣
My expectations are very high. The reviews generally are great but im a bit dubious about reviews in general.

Ive tried loads of eye creams and have a few waiting in the wings from liberty edits. An mz one that ive seen mentioned on here and a KatBurki one. Ive got a caudalie ecru from space nk advent. I need to remember I only have 2 eyes and they last ages 🤣

Yes the LF mystery edits are hidden, I only found it because it popped up in a Facebook ad and now I have it on my wishlist. I couldn't find it through searching. There is a huge list of possible products so I'm not expecting to get what's shown in the picture, but I will let you know if it's worth it.

I've tried loads of eye creams too. I had high hopes for the mz skin pearlescent one in the liberty edit, but like so many others it makes my skin burn. One of the only ones that doesn't is the BoJ ginseng & retinol one, which surprises me as it has retinol in. I'm not convinced it actually does anything though. I do keep thinking I should just stop with the eye creams, given I don't actually have dark circles or lines under my eyes! I do have an occasional little puffy patch under one eye, but no cream or patch has ever seemed to improve that so far...

Thanks for this, I've ordered a couple of different ones. I don't really need anything but haven't ordered any beauty stuff for aaaages and really fancy trying a couple of new (to me) things. I'm fully expecting at least one pair of eyelash curlers now as that's the one thing I definitely don't want! 😂

I do really like the MZ eye cream, but I am looking forward to going back to Tatcha, it was slightly more brightening for me.

I’m nearing the end of my Shiseido face cream - any recommendations on which to try next? Obviously I’ll be shopping from my stash, but I think we have mostly all got the same 😅

I’ve just had my LiB order delivered, and am expecting my JL free gifts and Harrods order (with GWP) at some point today.

I also opened my CB glow edit from the Fairy yesterday - very happy with that!
Oh, and my YSL prism libre powders and WA mascara which were recommended on here 😅 I’ll try them out later when I put my make up on

@Thelifeofawife I liked the Lancaster cream from Harrods advent. Didn't take long to use up as I used it on face and neck. I actually thought it made a better neck cream overall. It melts into the skin really well.

Oh Joyful Day! I've had my DPD/Harrods notification through. Not sure I'll be in tomorrow so it's just whether I can trust them to leave it behind the gate - or do I suddenly have a very important dentist appointment that means I have to work from home🤔

I got my Harrod's notification early this morning and have accidentally asked DPD to deliver to a neighbour which is exactly what I didn't want. The DPD app annoys me, it doesn't allow you to remove previous selections so I've always got 'leave in a safe place' on mine, which I had selected for a parcel of zero value. I live on a main road and there are no proper safe places for valuable items so I was trying to get rid of that. Anyway, I'll be in so I can camp on the doorstep.
The Tatcha brightening eye cream is my absolute favourite, I got a mini in a SNK goody bag a while ago and have stuck with it ever since. I'm only not going for the offer as I think I have enough Tatcha ( or alternatives I want to use) to get me through to the next Fukubaro in January.

@LightandBreezy I'm still smarting over SNK not sending me that 5ml of Tatcha eye cream a while back and substituting it with other samples.

Still no DPD notification.

I've just heard back from JL about my missing Medik8 and they're sending me out a replacement. I'm happy with that as it means I'll have enough to give it a decent try. 🥳

@OvaHere I'd be very unimpressed by that too - I know they have the disclaimer blurb about samples / freebies but it is annoying. They did it to me with a Tatcha freebie a while back as well, but didn't even sub it for anything. I think they must run out of the Tatcha offers very quickly.
So odd no DPD for you yet, are you bothered enough to give Harrods a call or leaving it with providence?

The money came out of my account this morning so I'll see what happens. Assume they are working through the orders. If I don't have a notification by the end of the day it might not bode well.

I’m still wading through my Liberty Eye Patch. Probably another week to go. That will be since Christmas I think…

I second this, I really liked it too. I've just finished it and found it light but very hydrating, perfect for the warm weather we're having 🥰 I think my favourite list from the Harrods moisturisers is:

1. La mer (but that should be kept for winter)
2. Lancaster
3. Valmont

Does the tatcha count as a moisturiser? If so, I'd put it last.

I've yet to try the Shiseido, which I've bought a backup of 🙈🤣 No idea why I've bought another when I've not tried the one from my ac yet.

Yes stay home, it's too precious to risk and completely sold out so you won't get another. Sudden toothache or burst pipe should do it 🤣

I really rate the Tatcha that was in Harrods.

I find Sheseido too heavily perfumed.

Ive not opened valmont - might try next. I’ve still a lot to use before asvent season 😳
