Yes, me and my sister went, and really enjoyed it. Apologies for the following long post, but hope it's useful to someone deliberating.
It was nice to have a look at products in a space where you couldn't actually buy them - it felt more relaxing. And all the staff were excellent, and very helpful. We went first thing in the morning, so it was pretty quiet - I think they signed some people up and gave them a ticket even if they hadn't pre-booked, while it was quiet. But later on it was busier and I don't think that was an option (but I'm not entirely sure, we weren't paying close attention).
I had a lovely chat with the perfume girls, who gave me an intro into layering - lovely and very interesting, but could quickly get expensive! I'd never tried any of the Parfums de Marly before, so was very happy to try those - Delina was definitely my favourite, really lovely. But not a must-buy for me ultimately. I've now got two mini sample bottles of the Delina exclusif from the event, which I liked less than the original, so those are going on Vinted (when I get around to it!).
I was particularly keen to stop by the Charlotte Tilbury stall, as unlike some other posters, I'm really rubbish with using blush 😅. I've always struggled with not looking completely overdone, and what the right colour for me is. I got a great mini lesson on applying the Unreal Blush, and loved it - I ended up buying that (in Rosy Glow).
(The beach event section was a bit of a walk from the actual H Beauty store, so we might have got slightly distracted by other stores on the way - but did get some good holiday wear in sales.)
I have to say, the staff in the actual H Beauty store were all also very lovely and helpful, and none were pushy at all. I did spend over £100 in total, so got all the freebies, and the bag chain - I was also given some Sisley hair mask samples at the Sisley stand.
I went to the Guerlain stand in store to get a lip balm I've been wanting for ages (Kiss Kiss Bee glow balm) but they were out of my shade. Instead I found a Guerlain eyeshadow set on sale - Ombres g eyeshadow quad in stellar glow (limited edition from last xmas) reduced to £21.50! And picked up a Fresh sugar lip treatment in Rose (I finished a different shade a couple of months ago) in another reduced set with lots of other Fresh products. The eye shadow quad, and a couple of the Fresh products are going into a Frankenstein advent calendar, so I can use some other things first, then treat myself 😄
The bag chain making was really fun too - we felt like kids again. There was a lovely selection of beads, and the girl running it was great, so nice to chat to.
