Other than at the gym - where even then I barely tolerate them - hard agree!

turkeyboots · 25/05/2026 15:35

Anything which makes me feel like they are well on the way to a nasty sunburn.

PizzaPunk · 25/05/2026 15:38

Linen trousers and tops.

They suit no-one and always look like a crumpled tissue after a few moments of wear.

Oh no, I disagree. They look nice for about 30 minutes. 😀

Sports socks and sliders. Grim.

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 25/05/2026 15:40

Shirtless blokes. Every single time.
Leave the women alone! 😂

Nothungrycat · 25/05/2026 15:41

Really heavy tattoos. I saw someone approaching the other day who I thought had one trouser on. Nope, just one leg filled with tattoos.

AlexaStopAlexaNo · 25/05/2026 15:42

Anyone wearing anything that’s too small for them

toastandegg · 25/05/2026 15:43

Shirtless men (or women but that never happens) anywhere other than the beach or swimming pool

PizzaPunk · 25/05/2026 15:43

Funnily enough I saw a bloke walking towards me yesterday and I thought he was wearing black nylon tights under his shorts, until he got nearer and I could see both his legs were just big splodges of tattoos 😁

yellowhatonacapybara · 25/05/2026 15:44

Shorts that are so short I can see your bum cheeks hanging down. Grim.

Yes - men walking around shirtless other than at the pool or beach. I suppose they get points for confidence and lack of self consciousness as it's never anyone who looks as though they spend a lot of time on their appearance.

KellySeveride · 25/05/2026 15:47

Puffer jackets.

I swear I’ve seen two people wearing them today…my car reckons it’s currently 34 degrees.

Pistachiomonster · 25/05/2026 15:48

Those hellish leggings and cycling shorts on young girls with some sort of bum defining/empathising thing in. They look hellishly sweaty and even worse in nude colour.

Tattoos and a suntan. Feel sorry for some peoples skin.

AgnesMcDoo · 25/05/2026 15:49

Taps aff is not a good look for most men

DanceMumTaxi · 25/05/2026 15:50

Shirtless blokes here too. Keep your tops on in public please. Tops off are fine at the beach, pool or own garden, otherwise keep them on.

muddyford · 25/05/2026 15:50

Another vote for shirtless men, especially for those wearing wife-beater vests. Just grim.

pilates · 25/05/2026 15:51

Shirtless men - just no, we don’t want to see it!

AltitudeCheck · 25/05/2026 15:53

Open toed anything.... even 'nice' feet give me the heebie jellies! Feet are grim, keep your toes to yourself please 😂😂

Floogal · 25/05/2026 15:56

Definitely agree about topless men in town. It's not down to prudishness, but the arrogance of them thinking they're admired by women and other men are intimidated by them🫣 😄

Yes. Bum shorts

When did feet start being a thing that people dislike? I'm over 50 and for me it's only in the last 10 years.

Middle-aged men without shirts.... saw it in Yorkshire when it was only about 16 degrees! Yuck.
People wearing shorts and beach wear in cities.... just no.
Go to Italy in warm/hot weather and you won't see any of these things from the locals.... they know how to dress properly and appropriately.

Floogal · 25/05/2026 15:58

Why do they do it? It looks silly and can not be comfortable. Especially if their feet get wet.
