Your deffo overthinking it ! That's how legs are supposed to be there not straight up and down unless u very underweight ! U have absolutely lovely legs instead of looking straight at your legs stand back and look at yourself as a whole and not just a specific area !! Wear the shorts !!!

Btw the shorts do suit ! Id ignore anyone that is saying they don't u don't need a specific pair of shorts your legs wud look good in any shorts !!

And your thighs don’t curve outwards above the knee? They clearly curve inwards. Not that such analysis is necessary.

Longer chinos are quite hard to pull off (well for me anyway)
