Well I didn't last long in my toying. I bought another WA balm lipstick in shade Pop. It's been in and out of so many baskets on different sites in the last month I figured that £16 was about as good as it was going to get.

I'll be annoyed if they drop a really good edit soon though. 😂

Had a basket ready with a few bits I wanted to try, but with 20% off and £15 gift card code I didn’t meet required £30 spend for the free delivery. I am so used to getting free delivery it was annoying having to pay for it 😂 so I abandoned the basket and decided I will buy them after the promotion ends. I will probably get them for the same price as today with one of CB usually available codes and free delivery. And can use my money off code on some edit on which discount codes don’t work.

You might not be able to use a 20% off promo code and a 'gift voucher' if the gift voucher is from them, as the code goes in the same box. If you're not far off the £30 for free p&p, maybe add a mask or a £5 cleanser?

I was also going to get a few bits but I'll wait till there's an edit on. I'm not urgent for anything.

It's a shame that the fair WA box is still not open to promotions. I sent the medium box back and part of me is tempted to buy it again with my credit, but I don't dare spend the £30 I got for mask / mini cleanser orders just yet, plus I've also got my eye on one of the TF eyeshadow palettes or blushers.

I saw some reviews of that. Really I'd just want the basket, it's lovely, although I have no idea in reality what I'd do with it. 😁

I assume they think they can shift all the fair ones without a discount. I hope they don't because I would like it at a much reduced price.

Yes, the basket is very cute. Small though. I'm probably going to sell it. I'm mostly interested in the lipstick, the blush and the highlighter. I might also try to sell the mascara. I think the basket will sell quite quickly.

It's been an expensive week. I need to book a holiday before I spend up 🤣

I figured both will not apply on the same order, but happy to keep their gift card for some future edit where the usual codes would not work.
I have a stash of small cleansers to get through and 2 big Dermalogica from Next box so definitely don’t need another cleanser 🙈🙈

It really doesn't feel right that because you have lighter skin that you have to pay more. I'm just wondering if they'd do it the other way round, I'm not sure, does anywhere else charge more for darker skin contour sticks? I'm trying to be careful with what I say, I honestly don't know, it just feels strange to me and unfair.

I'm like Hola I'll have to pay postage and I won't get my vouchercodes VIP so that's £6.50 extra and I have nothing I need.

Wasn't the newly released contour shade in the Fair edit? That could be why.

I've just put on the Dr Levy mask from the CB Edit. I hope I don't love it because I only kept one and sold the rest cheap on Vinted.

Also if anyone remembers me complaining a while back about the Glossier Cleansing balm being like glue and unusable, it was because it was too cold over winter on the bathroom windowsill. I chucked it in my empties box in another room and was about to throw it when I realised it didn't feel solid anymore. It's actually really nice to use at room temp! 😁

No, it's biscuit in the fair box which has been around for a while. The new shades are au lait, toast, coco, whiskey and kola. I like the look of coco, it has more red undertones 🥰

My SK order arrived. I am pleased with the things I chose to get up to the free postage, but less so with the Besties Box itself.

I obviously didn’t read the list of contents properly because it’s full of stuff I won’t use, like the retinal serum, (unless I just use it super-cautiously at night 🤷‍♀️), and some weird sheet things that you are supposed to eat! (I daren’t put those on eBay unless I inadvertently poison someone - they look quite scary!)

To be fair, there are some things I will use, like the lip balm, something I think is hair oil, a hair growth stimulant product and a TirTir sponge cushion foundation. It’s probably not the right colour, but I am willing to give it a go.

Overall, though, I’m feeling quite annoyed with myself. I need to stop getting carried away by offers!

Nope, I reckon they would've all sold a lot better if they'd put the new shades in them all. I'm not sure why they didn't, it didn't really make sense to have these boxes so close to launching the new shades but not include them in any 😕

I want to see the weird edible sheet things 🤣

Sorry it's not a success. I'm the same, I get carried away and then have buyers remorse afterwards. Hopefully what you do try will end up making it all worthwhile 🥰

I’m too scared to take oral supplements. I will probably give them to my friend who has started eating fish collagen powder.

@JoRaRaRa The Chanel set is gorgeous! I would use all of it, but I can’t justify that spend when I’ve got so many new products that I’ve not tried yet. I also resisted the Dior set, as I’ve no holiday booked so decided it’s unlikely I’d really get my monies worth.
Gosh, I feel like a changed woman - it won’t last long, but I’m feeling quite impressed with myself 😅

I think its more to do with the excess stock that all retailers seem to have for darker complexion products. They cannot in this day and age get away with not providing us shades but the demand is much lower.

I've always been able to pick up premium foundation and concealer in the sales at the main retailers that aren't available in lighter shades. Even for me though, there'll sometimes be a product with only the very darkest shade left that I can't use.
