I haven’t posted on here for ages but do read from time to time. I received my Debenhams perfume edit today, and I feel exactly the same about the little case as you @SunnyPinkMoose - it’s really lovely. And I like the perfume that came inside it. Thank you to whoever recommended the set.

I cracked at the airport and bought a double pack of the Sulwhasoo Vitalizing Overnight Mask. I’ve never tried it but I better like it because I now have two!

My Liberty beauty drop arrived today. I see what people meant about it - I have three of the items already - were they in the a/c?

Having said that, I decided to use one of the products tonight - if I wake up tomorrow with a completely rejuvenated part of my body I shall let you all know.

I have only been in BD since last summer, but they do seem to be getting meaner with sizes and products.

I think only the PK ( or a version of) was in the advent, and a different bibbi perfume, but maybe the other items have been in different edits?

@IlovePond I do recall the BD being really generous when it started (also it was all credit then, no actual expense). I joined up when it launched and have stayed loyal but have been wondering lately if I should keep it going.

Fortnums has be launched a beauty box - worth £350. They have also launched a perfume box.

they look lovely but I’m not sure the contents are worth that price point for me. However my birthday isn’t that far away so I might push them under DH nose if liberty don’t launch something amazing in the next few weeks.

I am sorry to hear you are also affected, I raised a case yesterday via Instagram and am waiting to hear back from another team.

I created a new account with the same email address. Its a blank slate with no past orders, credit etc

Querying via CS message as I'm "confused" what's happened to my account and have asked them to sort it.
The CS team seem to have no clue about what is probably auto deletion set up by IT team. I have not mentioned that, just querying where all my data has gone from an account I've had for years and sent proof of old orders.
I genuinely dont think CS have access to old account though from their messages and I think it would need IT involvement to fix.

It is utterly bizzare. From the posts I’ve seen I can’t work out any rhyme or reason why some people are having orders cancelled and account issues and others aren’t. I suppose there might be an algorithm set up by IT at play but I still can’t see it what the common thread is.

Thanks @user593 and @26inprogress - if there’s no improvement, I will stop my BD when I have bought this year’s advent calendar.

Basically, the boxes cost £15 each as we give Liberty £5 of our monthly £25 payment.
I know that this quarter’s box is technically worth more than £15, but I wouldn’t have chosen to handover £15 for it, (if that makes sense).

As Bibbi has already been mentioned upthread, I will say that this is a brand I loathe. That’s personal preference, of course, but it just added to my annoyance.

By contrast, my first beauty drop box last summer was impressive. It had a 1- 2ml ‘free’ sample but also a bigger perfume with a retail value. It also had a good size shampoo and conditioner to try.

Update: Body parts rubbed with one product from the BD feel much the same this morning as they did yesterday, (no miracles have occurred), but I did actually get some sleep last night so 🤷‍♀️

For those of you who are having accounts deleted and points lost, you really need to push on this. Those points will have been accumulated due to high spend, likely at times spending a bit more to hit a certain threshold, they can’t just take them away.

I’m still waiting for my refund from 25/2. It is a shame they are so crap, but probably good for my bank balance as I was getting a bit spendy with them. They seem utterly clueless as to how to do business

I’m disappointed to hear that CB are not reinstating some people’s points/accounts. Something like this shakes customer confidence and causes unnecessary upset.

I hope it can be sorted out.

What CB need to do moving forward is to sort out their offers/promotions with their IT department in advance so parameters can be set if required and also have proper T&Cs in place before launch.

I think we’re giving Cult Beauty too much credit that it’s an IT intended intervention - just seems like another mess of a tech driven company. I only placed one order, usually I receive stuff the next day, it was only dispatched this morning. Points added on this morning too. So nothing to do with placing lots of orders or being filtered.

I placed 8 orders. 6 were under £10. All were fulfilled. Points awarded. If it’s intentional their selection process makes no sense. I also got all my 40% off orders. I wouldn’t say I’m otherwise a huge spender at CB (although I am Gold which is a little horrifying).

I have spoken to them, they said my account was closed and my order cancelled as I had abused the offer. I'm not sure what I have exactly abused with one order, there is no terms and conditions my order went against. Anyway, long and short of it, my account is gone, and my postal address banned.
