It is addictive. Like chasing the bargain but always bargains especially advent, black friday,etc. I need to keep reminding myself. 🥰

I'm disappointed with the forthcoming CB sun edit. I've been buying their sun edits every year since they came out and they're usually fantastic. The best for me had the full size gorgeous Shiseido SPF. This year there isn't a full size face SPF so I'm not going to bother.

Anyone who bought the CB fragrance edit - what did you think of the Who is Elijah sample? I’ve only just tried it and really like it. Can’t decide if it’s full-bottle worthy. It really reminds me of another perfume but can’t think what it is….

My second order is still ‘processing’ - so I am not hopeful it will be fulfilled. I would quite like to use my points towards a ludicrously expensive shampoo purchase but don’t think I can whilst I have an order in limbo.

It’s a shame - CB is my favourite UK online beauty retailer atm, but all this malarkey is shaking my confidence.

Well I missed all the fun yesterday! I was having a sort out on Thursday though as I had a friend staying for the weekend and it did make me want to bang my head against the wall with how much stuff I have. Probably for the best.

However I did lie about being marked safe from the Cult Beauty hair edit - I think I've been forced to buy because the Lookfantastic one seems to have disappeared into the ether... Darn THG

CB have cancelled the 2 mask orders I placed this morning but my hair edit order has gone through 😐

I’m annoyed with myself this morning:

I had more or less convinced myself that SK weren’t going to send me the Bestie box given the tone of their two emails. I therefore cracked and ordered the stuff I had in my basket from yesterday, (minus the lucky dip code as I wasn’t awake - fortunately- at 4am to get one.

Of course, no sooner had I placed the order, I got a shipping confirmation for the one from last week🙀

Even worse, as I was doing it on a rush on the way to work I got part of the order wrong!

Oh well - I will do better moving forwards 🤞

Speaking of SK - they have restocked some of their previous promotional beauty boxes, (not the ones from this current promotion, unfortunately).

I think they have done this to help allay customer dissatisfaction at the speedy sell out of the current promos - very sensible of them.

I'm too scared to make any further purchases, but my points seem to still be there and the account seems to be active. I say seem because until I have an order go through without incident I'm not counting any chickens! Will leave it a few days now.
The orders I placed yesterday are out for delivery so past the point of no return, but I only got them for the points so if I can't spend my points for whatever reason it will have been a waste.

It's like gambling for beauty addicts, using cult beauty!

How random. maybe all the masks sold out. I was suprised they cancelled my order placed late last night, which wasn't a mask, after midnight cut off in fact, I suppose if they'd continued with the order and not given the points that would be worse.

I wonder if they have a way of checking if you've already ordered them. Or if they're doing a min order amount. Though seems a bit strange how they're on the ball enough to cancel orders but not put in a min spend 🤔

Oh actually, I spoke too soon on this. It's not gone through yet or been cancelled, but what I thought was a dispatch email was actually just an email telling me that one of my masks is out for delivery 🤣

Entirely consistent with cult beauty. If anyone had an order canceled but subsequently had one go through to completion please could you let us know as im worrying now that they've put a block on any further purchases, which I've had before from cb.

My first 3 CB orders have arrived! I'm convinced now like others have said that it was automatic bot detection, I think CB are heavily automated. Their CS human staff are not usually that responsive.

I did multiple repeat orders of the same mask after those 3 so I can see why it flagged in their system. Assuming now there was no "real" decision to delete me I'll be asking for my gold account and credit to be sorted and see where that gets me ☺️

Edit- I used all my pre-existing credit for those 3 orders so luckily I'm only down the £30 from the bonus points offer.

Past the point of not return unless you’re the Perfume Society and recall orders practically from people’s doorsteps 😂

I seem to have got lucky so far with CB 🤞 3 orders have been delivered and 2 more are on
their way to a pick up point. I thought these 2 were going to get cancelled as they were still processing when I went to bed last night but they got dispatched in the early hours. I think the difference was the ones delivered to my home were RM and these others are Evri, that’s all I can think of anyway. My orders were all quite small but none were exact duplicates so maybe that didn’t trigger anything? Who knows with CB.

I re-arranged and sorted my stash this weekend, oh lor’, so much. So very much! And I want to use it all NOW, obvs! But I really need to date some of it and see if it is still good. And then I should stock-rotate.

For those who have ordered from StyleKorean before, how long does it usually take to get delivered?

I'm travelling at the minute, otherwise I would have joined you on the CB offers 😆 And trying to coordinate who in the family is around when to take in deliveries is like herdings cats 😝

Both my CB orders from yesterday have arrived. The Tom Ford palette is beautiful but as I thought quite similar in formula to the RMS palettes if anyone is looking for a cheaper (not cheap!) alternative to TF.

Did anyone get the FTF mystery hair care bundle ?
