Well that actually makes me quite annoyed if other people also did 3 orders but didn't get banned - I mean, I'm glad we haven't all been banned obviously but am confused by their criteria.

That’s exactly why I won’t buy from them anymore. It’s just too vague and random.

Some get banned, some don’t’ and others just never get their defective products replaced or refunded, whilst others do.

There’s nothing to indicate what will happen to an order, and I really can’t get on board with a company that plays spin the bottle with our money. We deserve better.

I really hope those of you that are locked out just have a temporary suspension. All my orders were at least £10 and all different amounts, plus a bit spaced out, so I assume the ones that were flagged were because they were small amounts/the same value/done very quickly.

And no sorry needed, I'm just having a moment - it's been an exhausting w/end for other reasons so this is irking me more than it would usually - need to dig out my Julia Roberts / Pretty Woman 'Big Mistake' gif, send it to CB customer service and then get over myself 😂

Mine were different amounts but bluntly speaking 2 of them were piss-takes - under £5. The other was just under £40. I do mutter darkly about THG fairly frequently ( because of the poor corporate culture I've heard about ) so I should probably have shown more integrity like @Sminty2 and just sacked them and Look Fantastic off a while ago.

@LightandBreezy et al, we get the service and quality we are prepared to tolerate, so it’s no surprise that some companies will abuse this.

If your Ts & CS didn’t mention minimum spend, then their service is unacceptable. Even if it did, it’s still unacceptable to cherry pick orders to fulfill.

You have done nothing wrong or at least, nothing that others haven’t done and got away with, so hopefully your big order will get reversed and sent.

Someone panicked but you shouldn’t lose out because of that. Let us know if they change their mind. If not, they are the losers, not you.

CB emailed me a new code to try this afternoon but they don't make it at all obvious which fragrances it might work on. I gave up trying to get anything interesting in the end and settled on a ouai fragrance mist. At least it's one of the things I get 15% discount on so that nearly makes up for me having to pay for delivery (I did try the ANNIIECB code but it wouldn't stack) I'm trying to keep my spending down for the rest of the month as I need to buy birthday presents. I agree that CB seem to be very inconsistent with how they treat customers. They should take a good look at how they run their promotions before penalising people for finding their gaping loopholes.

I've only made the one order. They also emailed me again reminding me of the offer. What is the min spend or is that still unclear?

I shouldn't buy anything else as I found the highlighter I wanted on Jarrolds website and remembered I still had the 15% welcome code which would have expired soon. I'm sure I don't need to explain to you all what happened next. 😳

I got a new fragrance voucher other day and it worked but couldn't get free delivery and went adding a tonne of other stuff as just wasnt worth it.
Now it wont work. I tried it earlier 🤣🫣

i ‘ve just put in a second order but it seems to be taking a while ‘processing’ . My first order is with Royal Mail and the points are in my account.

I'm not mad about them deleting my account. I knew it was a glitch and not a genuine offer.
At work recently some of our clients managed to order a product for free off our website due to an error. I escalated to Legal as I wanted to cancel the orders (!) but their advice was to leave it be and update T&Cs to mitigate potential errors in future. So I'd be a hypocrite to be angry with CB!

I'll also be back on CB with a new email account - they do too many good edits/offers and have year round 20% discount codes.

Thanks. I did one more order for a Byoma Cleansing Balm. Can't remember if I've tried this one but it was only 11.99 with a code and I had £13 Paypal points left so paid with those. Free and I get £10 credit back.

I'm very confused by CB. They must know if they have an offer on like this people will place multiple orders, many of them low value ones just for the points. They do have the tech to make offers limited to 1 per customer.

I think as someone else said it could be bot detection kicking in where the orders weren't spaced out enough but who knows.

Another who placed loads of orders.
Have had cancellations for 6 and dispatches for 2 and no idea on the others. I contacted the chat and they have passed to customer relations, if that account is banned, I will do the same and set up a new account with my other email.
Bronze is only a £100 spend and silver is £250, so won’t take me long to get up to silver at a minimum
with a good glitch or edit. With free delivery at £30 it will normally cover the edits so may actually save me from spending on the small random items I tend to buy.

i placed 3 orders - oddly the first one with a £50 sorbs has not shipped yet. My 2 lowers orders £20 ish have and I seem to have the points.

I agree it’s probably a “bot banning” if there was an unusual spending pattern eg lots of small orders in a short time.

My bank blocked my card automatically once because it had one foreign transaction (a taxi) and no flight or hotel or meal spend at the same time - but work had paid directly for all the other things!

@ClutteredPalace I thought you could use the code on any fragrance at all? I bought a 9ml of one of the Jo Malone scents which is only £18 full price and that went through.

Back on the subject of trying out stuff I used the RMS eye palette I got with SNK points today. I didn't get around to it before I went away and I only took single shadows with me.

It's really nice, they are all a satin type formula but very wearable and apply beautifully with next to no fall out. Also flattering on my older hooded eyes. They have creased slightly after a few hours but then everything does on hooded eyes!

I got the Rebel Glow palette but I'm probably going to go back for the Midnight Bloom one next time SNK do an offer (CB have sold out otherwise it may have been a today purchase). My only minor issue with the colours in the one I got is they are perhaps not quite different enough when using a few together. I think they work best using a couple of shades or as a one and done.

I suspect the wet/dry formula of the much more expensive Tom Ford is going to be quite similar to the RMS formula so I have high hopes for that one too.

I also tried the MBM skin enhancer and cream blush from the Sephora sale. I don't have a final verdict on those yet. I do like the blush, it's probably light enough that it could be just used to add colour to a bare face or with a tiny bit of skin tint. I need to work out what brush or sponge to use with the skin enhancer - don't think I have it quite right just yet.

It seems like some people (a lot!) just got defective codes. I'm sure mine worked on a few things before I settled on the one I got.

Ugh, it’s so random. I was trying to buy a 9ml Jo Malone with my £10 fragrance voucher, and it won’t apply - it says “The promotion code you entered is not an active offer”. I did try adding some other perfumes - but no, same message on everything.

Honestly, how hard can it be generate codes that actually work? The email very clearly says “ *Voucher code valid on any full size fragrance purchase. One use per customer. Valid for 12 months.”

I suppose I will have to contact customer services tomorrow <sigh>

@RockaLock that’s the message I got with my first code. So once they sent me a replacement. I ordered straight away in case that code went wrong too!
