Boots order has just arrived thankfully as I was starting to run out of things to avoid housework.

I’ve booked a skincare session at Jarrolds with Trinny London next week. It’s £35 for 30 minutes a the cost is redeemable against products, and since I’ve just started my stash Elevator I need a refill! So I get what I was going to buy anyway and a free half hour treat! Seems like a win to me!

I went to SKorea last October - signing up to the loyalty programme at Olive Young’s flagship Myeongdong store gets you a free gift and vouchers. Daiso - again the flagship store in Myeongdong - is fantastic for Fwee dupes and other wonderful stuff.

They tend to give you lots of freebies in some of the smaller cosmetic stores - but at others you get nothing.

Look out for GWP and BOGOF. Outside busy times, (evenings), staff are usually helpful. Some of the staff in OY spoke English, but most people I came into contact with didn’t.
There was a funny interaction between one older British woman and several OY staff whilst I was there - she was trying to tell them she wanted stuff for her grand-daughter - they were desperately trying to flog her anti-wrinkle cream! (Translation apps such as Naver are brilliant in such situations.)

BTW: Avoid Daiso and OY in the evenings unless you enjoy fighting over skincare/cosmetics with Korean teens! Also: The staff get upset if you don’t use a basket - once you have one you can do what you like, but the basket is essential!

Thanks for the retinol thought @26inprogress - I don’t use retinol so I really don’t know what is going on. Hopefully my lips will get better soon🤞

Thanks @MrsBnow12. I’ve just opened and used the Kate Somerville edit that I purchased ages ago and really liked the products esp the lip oil and spf so I’ve been wanting an excuse to purchase another one and the equivalent of £10 off in points was enough to press buy. 🙈

@MrsBnow12 Seems to work multiple times too, even on orders under £10, although I haven’t received the points yet!

I may have ordered a few Reedleshot masks on individual orders, the points post once the orders have been dispatched.

@Beautyfox was there an expiry date on the spf as I have looked at that edit a few times as love KS but have quite a few SPFs on the go

On the plus side, I’ve been really good not spending as nothing else is tempting me, with the exception of the FtF mystery box

I think it depends on what you are buying, it is still
working on the BOJ mask highlighted below but didn’t when I tried a couple of new things that had recently launched.

It is also working on the perfume samples if anyone was still looking for any of those.
I need to step away from my phone before CB bans me but think I now have enough points for the advent as have not used any points for purchase this year.

Doesn’t work on the Jo Malone Cypress & Grapevine samples, sadly!

The email with the offer says 1 per customer... I think it's unlikely we'll get any more than that unfortunately. If anyone does get a second order dispatched and gets the points added do let us know!

They had a similar glitch when they ran this promotion last year and all the points posted. That is not to say they will do the same this year and am sure at some point the promotion will get updated and the minimum spend updated.
