Royal Style: Spring Forward! Bling Forward, too..

I don't like Zara's white stilettos, nothing will ever convince me that they are stylish.

I'm not keen on Zara's outfit either, the suit colour is too pale, the fit of the suit is unflattering as is the trouser length, not keen on the white stilettos and I don't like that style of blob shaped hat although it suits her face shape. But I like the earrings and sunglasses, the shirt and she looks relaxed and happy.

I'm going to the costume exhibition next month with friends we booked it ages ago as we wanted a Sat afternoon, really looking forward to it.

Somehow the hats look so forlorn in a cabinet hung up. I don't think it's the best way to display them.

That’s a Me and Em suit and Cefinn blouse on Zara there. Both are from past seasons, and I agree, they are not well suited to her figure. Lovely match with the hat, though.

Zara. That’s a big fat no. The hat, the suit. The hat with the suit. No.

Za's top half looks quite nice, but bottom half no - the white shoes/capri pant trousers combo jar with the jacket and hat.

Don’t love the suit, but Zara’s makeup is perfect, her skin looks flawless,

I’m not keen on Zara’s outfit or Mia’s outfit either.
Zara’s is just too fussy. Individually the clothes are nice but not together.
I really don’t like white stilettos.
Has Mia coloured her hair ?

Leti in a Hugo Boss burgundy trouser suit and striped shirt.

I liked Leti's previous suit and I like this one. It's a good cut and fit, not too baggy or oversized, but with a modern cut. I like the shirt, even though I often don't like a tie at the neck.

Max taking wide-legged trousers to the max! I do really like the Max Mara suit but would probably opt for trousers that aren't quite so wide myself. Still, it wouldn't be Maxima if there wasn't an element of drama to her ensembles.

Max. It's a business suit with a twist.

Max does a lot of business trips and no-one blinks. Mary to a certain extent. So the clothes reflect that.

I'd compare it to Leti's, the post above.

Leti usually looks good, apart from the massive suits she liked for a while. I like both of the recent ones.
Max's jacket is nice but the trousers are too much.
I suspect Zara has inherited her mum's approach to clothes. Wear exactly what YOU like and sod everyone else.

Yes, Max's jacket is fine. Perhaps paired with other trousers or a dress, maybe one of her orange ones!

I don’t mind Zara’s suit tbh, I quite like the overall look even if it needs a little tweaking. It’s not too different from Leti’s with the lovely blouse that Maireas likes (and I do )

I do like Max’s ostrich dress and yellow shoes though 🙂

Re Mia and her hair...I wonder if Zara still has a tongue piercing!

Didn't Mia go to Australia over Xmas new year. The streaks are probably what I've always called sun kissed. Mine used to get them when abroad.

Yes, I thought it just looked like dark blonde, maybe with sun lightening? Difficult to tell really.

There’s a few pics of Mia here and it looks like her hair lightens in the summer. this is the time of year when the roots would be darkest as they haven’t had much sun on them over winter.

Mia’s grown up manicure at Aintree was definitely not natural though.

I don’t like either of Zara or Mia’s suits I’m afraid.

Saying that, for Mia, 12 is a difficult age to dress formally for the races, particularly when the weather/temperature is so changeable so I’m not sure what I would have chosen instead.

I don’t think that trouser suit and blouse does Zara any favours - neither the colour nor the style.

Thoughtful comments on the Exhibition of EIIR’s clothes. I’m booked to go later this month.
