Welcome to style mavens old and new to continue our chats.
Hopefully more bling if there's another banquet on the horizon?

I like Yolanda Diaz’s pink suit. She rather upstages Leti.
She can wear it because of her skin tone.

It's certainly a strong look.

That is very... pink! I like Let's suit and blouse though.

Maireas · 09/04/2026 15:02

Do you think the suit is white, cream or more of a light beige colour? I can't quite make it out.

It's really hard to tell. I've seen it described as beige, cream and grey in different places. Depending on the light it looks as if it has a very, very pale pink tinge to it...

Maireas · 09/04/2026 16:12

Further investigation- it's by Spanish brand Mirto, and has been described as beige.

Hugo Boss blouse and Sezane Elodie Mary Jane shoes.

I like both trouser suits! Leti's looks shell pink, but can see it might look more beige irl.

Cassiope · 09/04/2026 22:04

Calling @RomainingCalm, who I know can do montages... Please can we have one of Mathilde wearing her green lampshade top and Maxima in a dress that looks like a mash-up of a speedo swimming costume and an ostrich stole.

Those are both statement looks. I'm not sure what the statement is though.

Maireas · 09/04/2026 22:18

Max can carry it off, though Mathilde is somewhat overwhelmed by that colour.
Credit for trying something a bit different, though.

I'm afraid the green just gives me a fancy pyjamas vibe. I'm not sure that even someone wearing it with a more conviction could redeem it. Maxima just made me laugh - you can't see the effect in that photo, but she's leaned into the swimming costume thing by wearing very sheer nude tights and she's smiling in a way that's inviting you to share the fun of that completely OTT trim.

RomainingCalm · 09/04/2026 23:04

Here you are @Cassiope- lampshade v ostrich…

Is anyone else planning to go to the exhibition of the late Queen’s outfits? It’s opened today, just look at the hats!

I’ve not been posting much as I am so ridiculously busy with work and family. But wanted to share these lovely photos of the Bhutanese royal family. The kids are stunning 😍. And the outfits beautiful. And the wee princess ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I saw this on the news and hope to go.

Maireas · 10/04/2026 06:47

Look at the hats! I don't think there's been a colour that's been missed out.
They are a beautiful family, @Chesticles , I love the shades of red.

Yes, I have tickets for May. Looking forward to it. I went to the last exhibition of her clothes some years ago and it was fascinating. The gorgeous evening dresses showed what a tiny waist she had in her younger days.

Spaghettea · 10/04/2026 07:45

Ro, yes. Going in July for the hats, tiny waist coronation and wedding dresses and hopefully some Hermes scarves.

Spaghettea · 10/04/2026 07:47

Is it having an official opening from KC3 today?

Kirschcherries · 10/04/2026 17:55

I’ve booked for the exhibition - June.

If you are interested in going I would recommend you book early, Particularly if you want a morning slot as I found it quite booked up already.

Maireas · 10/04/2026 18:26

Sweet! Double breasted, though. I don't like Zara's outfit, neither the trousers nor the jacket seem to fit right.

Fabulous hats! Some hats are real works of - colourful, textured, wearable mini-sculptures - and seem almost wasted as headgear.

I hope they'll do some sort of guided video tour of selected bits of the exhibition for people who can't get there.

Zara, Mike and Mia at Aintree today https://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/894890/mia-tindall-changed-so-much-zara-tindall/

I love Zara’s pink suit. Mia looks very grown up but I think the suit jacket is slightly too big/ needs fitting.

Terrible suits all around there, though Zara's might be better with a different blouse and a less dated trouser cut. The article reads like Hello is now using AI to write content!
