Welcome to style mavens old and new to continue our chats.
Hopefully more bling if there's another banquet on the horizon?

I'm not sure. The Maundy service is in Wales this year.

Prince Jacques looks cool in that photo with the shades!

It's at St Asaph cathedral I read in the local press

The family Easter service is at Windsor. The BBC have just posted that none of the York family will be attending

Meanwhile, Albert and Charlene open a parent and baby hospital unit.
I think Charlene looks good here, I like the blue dress and accessories. It's a floral dress, but the pattern isn't overbearing. Her hair is lovely.

I love Mathilde in that blue velvet Dior gown - it's very, very elegant.

I'm less keen on Charlene's blue dress, the colour and the style are fine but the pattern reminds me of Joules print.

deeahgwitch · 31/03/2026 16:27

I think a fringe (bangs for US posters) would be lovely on Mathilde

Pallisers · 31/03/2026 16:39

I love everything Matilde is wearing in that article. The evening dress is just gorgeous.

Maireas · 31/03/2026 16:46

I agree, @Pallisers , Mathilde isn't high on our style radar, but I love that dress.

The cabuchon sapphire earrings are especially lovely.

Maireas · 31/03/2026 17:06

They are beauties 🤩

Love Char's dress, think it really suits her.

SqueakyDinosaur · 31/03/2026 17:17

I like the pale pink outfit Mathilde wore for the welcome ceremony - pastels really do suit her.

Maireas · 31/03/2026 17:22

I think when Mathilde gets the proportions right, she looks great.

Peter Phillips is getting married in June in a private ceremony. Hopefully not with a big tent hiding the arrival of guests!

That's nice news. Anne can decide which outfit to re-wear. Would be tactless to wear the one from his first wedding!

I think she’ll decide she needs something modern , so by her standards possibly something from the 80s?!

Only joking , I lover her mentality and I’d give anything to be the same size all my life!

Anne would have plenty of stylish choices if she did raid the climate-controlled wardrobe. We seem to be in the era of the Statement Sleeve and the fashion retrospectives of Anne show she's done them all already: puff sleeves, balloon sleeves, flared from the elbow, flared from the wrist, batwing, ruffles, probably even leg of mutton.

Lifestooshort71 · 01/04/2026 21:04

....and she has proved that it pays to buy qood-quality items rather than lower quality that end up in landfill somewhere

justasking111 · 01/04/2026 21:30

Not keen on the first wedding outfit

Royal Style: Spring Forward! Bling Forward, too..
RomainingCalm · 01/04/2026 22:23

I had a look for some of Anne’s outfits from previous royal weddings - I’m not convinced that any of these should become rewears for Peter and Harriet.

Lovely news though.
