I don't like the belt today, one and the same fabric as the coat would have looks nicer I think hut that's my only criticism!

Kate looks nice as always but the belt looks a bit out of place and like she was trying too hard to match it with the scarf, gloves and boots.

I like the look - think she looks fab and I prefer the longer coat length on her, very elegant.

There's a banquet tomorrow night for the Nigerian president's state visit. Let's hope they've raided the jewel vaults!

Kate has opted for a British-Nigerian designer today. The coat has a corset-style lace-up back, which is interesting, but I find the colour dull and the cut far too 80s cabin crew.

Is Kate wearing Carol’s old uniform?! That’s not a good look at all. And , as ever, its far too long.

Not keen on the colour or style.

If there was ever a day to not wear grey (or pastel pink like Camilla) it’s when formally greeting a Head of State and spouse from an African country who is going to wear something bright. Kate and Camilla could have worn cobalt blue, purple, strong yellow, bright green. Anything but grey…

I like the sentiment but not the dress. A bespoke piece might have been better. Particularly don’t like the hat.

At least Camilla is a pretty sunshine day colour.

Oluremi Tinubu, on the other hand, looks stunning.

That's a definite miss - in shape and colour. even the sleeves seem too long on her. She does jewel colours very well so a pity she didn't go for that. The corset detail on the back would be interesting on a different coat. Her earrings are lovely though.

God that is the most dull outfit (and not just the colour - I quite like grey) I know 90s is back but with a bit of a modern twist.

Hard agree. This would have been one of the (very, very few) occasions on which Erdem might have been the absolute best choice.

That’s a dreadful outfit, everything about it is wrong. Shame, especially as she is showcasing a Nigerian / British designer, which is a really nice intention.
