Yes @manpan1 - I think they could probably see you were especially hard done by 😹

If I have to call to chase my order, then I will say that I don’t want another Canfield and would prefer to cancel, (they can see just how many bags I have from last year’s LD by checking my order history 🙀) Otherwise, I will just let the chips fall where they may!

On a related note:

Maybe last year the packers were told not to just grab all the same products for the same customer, because I don’t remember people getting so many duplicates.

Hopefully ROKA will improve things if they repeat the LD next year. They do learn from past experience, as shown by the helpful listing of styles/sizes under each LD heading this time around, which was a massive improvement on the way it was last year.

A free return offered, which at least is something! I shouldn't complain really, I got a small Gatwick and I'm anticipating a burnt orange Heathrow at some point. I was just greedy for a rose camo and a Portobello. I've a few spare from previous orders, so I'll attempt some swaps on FB/here once that's order has arrived.

Oh dear - I have just checked on my order and yes, it’s a Canfield 🙀 I’m not particularly happy with the other items either, but that’s the risk of LD!

Also - they have shown my order as double the actual price. Does anyone know why? I seem to remember it happening to other people. Am I going to have to call them? 😿

@IlovePond yes it happened on all of mine. when the stock is allocated the bags are allocated at cost and the old LD product lines are still on there. It rights itself after delivery

Mine has updated today too. Not despatched yet though. Looks like I’m getting a Moorgate messenger. Hope it doesn’t change as I really like it.

How bizarre @manpan1 - I don’t remember this malarkey last time! My order is also still showing as unfulfilled. If nothing changes within the next couple of days, I think I will call and cancel as I think it will all be going back anyway 😿

@IlovePond Last year we couldn't see the stock allocations so I wonder if we are just getting more visibility this time. I do wonder if they have done it on purpose so that people can cancel orders before shipping because the LD must cost them a small fortune in shipping and returns, on what must be low margins with the discounts. And it goes against their environmental sustainability values to ship out lots of products that get returned. I know it's not in the spirit of surprise LDs but I suspect they have saved a lot on return and processing this year

Order just arrived with a Willesden L sling bag in Medium wash denim, nylon Bantry in Citron and Carnaby crossbody in Biscotti. All going back unless anyone is interested in swapping.

Next year I'm staying off these threads!

My order details are on shop and I don’t have a Canfield!
but not overly excited by my potential delivery, I have: Taupe Finchley (I’ve never had a Finchley so will reserve judgement for now) a Moorgate in kiwi green (not me) and a Carnaby wallet in black ash (bit dull).

That’s interesting @manpan1 I don’t use the shop app and I didn’t realise that if I clicked on my ROKA order it would show what I was getting. I don’t know if this was the case last year as I never tried.

What is showing on my order is perfectly fine, I just didn’t want another Bantry and Canfield. Having said that, at least the Treasure isn’t a bumbag or sling!

I cracked and went for another meduim dip on the last day with the code. No idea what I'm getting but would like something small enough to meet Wembleys bag size restrictions and colourful enough for Mr. Styles! If I don't get something suitable I'll be up for swaps

We were hoping to do swaps with each other if necessary, but we dislike slings/bumbags equally and have both been sent Canfields. I’m quite jealous of her wallet. I suspect we will both be returning stuff, which is a shame.

In the vague hope that anyone has a sudden urge for a Canfield (...) I already have three. Before the next four pitch up. Bamboo black label, chilli oil, English rose.

I also have a sapphire Trafalgar ( I already have a Trafalgar for my swim bag and love it) - and a creative waste small Bantry B in black/khaki..all nylon.

Potential swaps include Portobello, anything camo...decline pastels. Let me know what you have in canvas...

I dislike Paddingtons (sorry small bear!) swapping jackpot for jackpot, treasure for treasure before they join the hundreds on vinted or I send them back from whence they came!

Ooh my order has updated with what I have. As I haven’t got any ROKA stuff at all
and got tempted by the good price (£55 for all of these including shipping, with the code) I’m not much the wiser, but the colours look nice!

A medium Canfield is a great starter bag - such a useful size! And I love the mint shade on the Farringdon.

Just had notification that mine has shipped so a small bantry in citron is on the way. i had hoped it may change tomorrow as a few have done.

I did say i’ll give it a chance before making a decision but I don’t think it’s going to be a keeper.

Hi, just wondering what colour small bantry bags anyone has for selling or swapping? I’ve got a city duffel matcha and small bantry urban rose camo on the way…maybe I’ll love them when they come 😀

These have been shipped this evening. I detest anything beige with a passion and already have a bag in a similar style and colour to the Finchley so both will be returned unless I can swap.

@MadisonAvenue The taupe is more of a grey / green khaki colour than a beige, so you might be pleasantly surprised.

@SheilaFentiman - I think it might have been me that introduced you to the idea of ROKA, so I really hope you like your order! What you have listed there looks nice, imo. The Canfield rucksack is a really great bag and I am quite jealous of the Farrington.
