General “Waifs and Strays” Beauty Advent Calendar opening thread.

As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads - though happy for those to be shared here too. Also looking forward to hearing about the “Frankenstein” curations.

Carrying on the tradition from previous years, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - Degusta, jam, cheese anyone?

I know there are mixed feelings on this, but many of us would really appreciate it if spoilers are not posted before 7am on the relevant day, though if the consensus is this is too late we could
make it from midnight on the day? Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

Posting pictures of contents is also always much appreciated.

Thanks @AprilLady. I don't know if there will be a dedicated boots skincare thread but waifs and strays is my favourite so I'll hang out here anyway.

I'm away tomorrow and Tuesday but can open before I head in the morning for 1st. I'm not sure whether I'll take the 2nd with me or wait until I get home on Tuesday night.

I’ll be opening my DIY refilled calendar and - possibly - Rituals.

Signing up for my first year as a waif. I wasn't going to get one this year then twitched on a reduced Elle but it's likely not arriving until 3rd.

DH just surprised me with just my look Advent Calendar. Box is lovely hoping for some nice goodies.

Thanks, @AprilLady! I’ll be opening H&B and Korres, DD has Rituals and we all have Paxton & Whitfield’s cheese one. Plus DD insisted on a random instant noodles one which I think will be foul.

I have the OK beauty, Degusta Foodie( really for DH but he wont open it ) the Degusta Taste and Treat and then one that DH makes for me. ( He kept an advent box from a few years ago and spends all year filling it! )

Thank you for starting the thread. I have Jo Loves too along with a 12 day Glosters calendar (pottery and treats) which I’ve been dithering over when to open but think I’ll start tomorrow so all the Christmas pieces can be enjoyed during the festive period.

Got it out and ready, it’s blooming heavy and huge 🤣

I have my Anthropologie and Bird & Blend ready to go. I’ll also be on the Liberty thread. Probably won’t open until I get home from work so I can take my time, apart from tea to take to work.
