Yay I’m first on my favourite thread.

The CB edit with the bioeffect may tempt me but I do still have 3 in my stash from previous edits so will depend on the other products.

I have 2 stashed and yet to try but may be tempted 🤣
I just look at them. Need to use to see the affects ♥️🤩🤣

Thank you @OvaHere for the new thread 😊 I will most certainly be looking out for the CB skin edit with the Bioeffect, but that's mainly what I'd be after, so it would depend on the price as to whether I buy it or not.

None of them are really tempting me which I'm pleased about. That may change as the BD site isn't always 100% correct about products pre launch but I'm aiming for an edit low buy for the next 12 months. Only ones that are really worth it (for my preferences/existing stash) are allowed.

Knocking the LF sub box on the head has helped as I don't get those discounts now as has CB changing their recycle scheme and use of codes. It's made buying edits that bit more expensive so I put a bit more consideration into whether I really want them. I did get some bargain ones through this year though that at times I only paid £15-20 for.

@JoRaRaRa my guess is around £45-55. I think the edit cost has crept up a bit.

Ooh those CB edits are disappointing which is good news for my bank account. Previous years for pre Christmas edits have been far better. Have to say the decline in GWPs has been obvious for a while compared to the glory days but now it seems that edits are becoming worse too, noticeable even from last year. Sigh. I’m holding out for my bday gift offer from diptyque and their November offers and going to treat myself to
the perfum I really want.

I think I'd be happy to pay upto £60 for it as that's still a great saving for the Bioeffect alone. It does have the la prairie cleanser too and an omorovicza product which looks like a moisturiser maybe, I'm not fussed about another zelens serum, I'm even thinking about trying to sell the one I have as I don't think I'm going to use it. I think the AB is the body cream which will be gone in one use 🤣

I also like the sephora lip edit but I just can't justify the spend on more lip products at the moment 😕

One of them looks like the 111Skin NAC line but it's gwp size. New rule for the next year for me is not to buy edits for gwp size of anything. If there's full sizes I want then the gwp is a bonus but I'm going to be more Cosmetopia and not factor gwp teenies into the worth of an edit.

Also like the Sephora lip kit but it's still quite a lot for lip stuff which I'm hardly desperate for.

There has been so much lip stuff in almost every edit/gwp/bac lately that I can’t imagine needing more just now either.

Although the Sephora kit does look good 🫣

Thank you, we have a really good GP so hopefully they will prescribe, but if not, I will definitely look into the private prescription.

It's probably not that expensive when I consider what I spend on beauty products! 😳

It's been nice buying for him, as I got the new customer discounts, but it's made me realise how good value the beauty advents are.

Ah sorry, I didn't pay full attention and thought it was just men's yesterday on bottles of 100ml, oops 🤣 Did you get any makeup? How old is your son? I have a nephew who's 17 and wants aftershave for Christmas but no dab bottles like the versace miniatures, which makes it hard work 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks for the new thread. I’m trying not to buy anymore skincare for a while as I have so much to get through, but I bet there will be lots of good boxes coming out in the next few weeks and I’ll almost certainly cave if there are any good Black Friday sales.

At least I’ve only got a fragrance advent calendar this year, so no more skincare coming in that way!

I didn't try it on make up but I feel like it was just scent and not all scent. I tried it on Babycat from the very expensive top range line but that wasn't working so I got 100ml of Myslf and 30 ml of Black Opium (not being stingy to DD here I'm getting her other stuff, this was just extra because it was a great price 😃).

DS is 18 and very into scent. Other two DS's aren't that fussed so rarely buy it for them.

Also don't blame your nephew. I don't like dab bottles and was main reason I didn't buy the Perfume Shop AC.

Has anyone tried the Mon Paris? I like the sound of it.

Also, does anyone know if you can use the stack codes more than once, I’m thinking of doing 2 separate orders?

@OvaHere i just tried to get the myself one for my nephew but it's sold out now 😕 Maybe it's a sign to get him the little spray mix instead 🤔

I tried it on an eyeshadow palette and it doss work or at least one of the vouchers works.

I'm tempted to find one for my husband for Christmas and maybe get the black opium for my mum, but I'm not meant to be spending 🙈

@Thelifeofawife yes, I have Mon paris, it's really nice 😍 I did once have a big row with my husband over it, it was half price at boots and so I told him to go get me it for Christmas, obviously he forgot and come Christmas eve it was back to full price 🤣 this is why I now buy my own presents. Anyway, I've had a couple of bottles of it.

@JoRaRaRa On another note, I got Sparkling Jo perfume for my DS to gift me for Christmas. He said I could have it now… little cutie… though I’m still waiting for him to pay me back for it 🤣

He's definitely better since then, he doesn't leave shopping for my gifts until Christmas eve anymore, but things I want and I feel could sell out fast, I don't trust him with anymore. Such as the lancome holiday box, I didn't trust him with that purchase 🤣 And to be honest, he doesn't always trust himself with getting stuff fast, he's asked me before to get him gig tickets or a limited edition football shirt 🤣 I also buy my own wrapping paper as he used to just use up the scraps I didn't use wrapping other people's. He's better but needs more work 🤣
