Thanks @OvaHere and thank you so much @Doglover73 thats really kind of you ❤️

@Christmaschristmas another voice here agreeing with recommending soolantra, I got it through an online chemist, my gp prescribed skinoren, which is also very good, but wouldn't prescribe two creams… whereas in fact it was the combo that did the trick. Soolantra reduces inflammation and skinoren strengthens the skin, makes it more resilient to stressors. Cold weather coming up! Wind was one of my stressors. Good luck with it, it’s doable!

OvaHere · 12/10/2025 19:03

@MrsBnow12 I tried the DDG Peel Pads this morning. Tried the sensitive one, very sight tingling but no adverse skin reaction. I do detect a bit of a glow I think. Going to try the stronger one in a couple of days.

How do you (or anyone else who uses them) work them into your routine? The 2nd step seems like a moisturising step and the instructions state to use your usual moisturiser after. I put my usual Vit C, serum and then moisturiser on after. Is it fine to do that or are you supposed to just cleanse - use pads - moisturise to get the best from them?

BakeOffRewatch · 12/10/2025 19:31

I use the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads, like a face mask before a night out or event so not as part of usual routine. Would cleanse, do the pads, brightening eye cream, hyaluronic serum as I find that works as good base for make up longevity, moisturiser. Then make up.

For oily acne or blocked pore treatment, I used daily for 5 days and kept other stuff light.

OvaHere · 12/10/2025 19:35

Thanks @BakeOffRewatch

@OvaHere I use them once or twice a week and use as part of my nighttime routine and use peptides or bioeffect after and then my moisturiser.

Thanks @MrsBnow12 I do like them so far. Might look out for them on a BF deal.

I’m in need of a new moisturiser but holding out for a good kit or GWP.

IlovePond · 13/10/2025 00:56

Can’t say I am that impressed by the Liberty 7 days of rewards for BD members. I’m annoyed that I missed the extra £10 in points I would have got if I had ordered the calendar this week, rather than last, but at least I didn’t miss out on an a/c discount!

Monday’s offer is 20% off skincare. I am vaguely interested in Tuesday’s edit offer, but am confused as to why it’s £105 from Liberty, but £95 if you buy it on Wednesday straight from the Standard hotel. That makes ZERO sense to me:

Here’s the info from the Standard website:

Housed in a Liberty Aldephi Voyage print washbag, The Overnight Edit brings together cult favourites and contemporary must-haves across skincare, fragrance, and body care.

*The kit offers a total product value of over £367, available for £95.
The Kit Includes:

The Overnight Edit Kit will be available from 15 October 2025, online & at The Standard, London*

What do people think about this edit? Too pricy for me, I think, but interesting

@IlovePond BD members get 10% off so think it will be slightly cheaper for them

I don’t think the double points includes the calendar so hopefully you haven’t missed out there.

I’m disappointed with the beauty drop week offers and with the kit.

OvaHere · 13/10/2025 08:07

I'm not a fan of the kit so my wallet is safe. The other rewards are useful if you had plans to get something expensive Liberty sells anyway.

The best offer is probably the 20% off fragrance on Sunday, combined with the double points it's worth getting the big bottle of something you were going to buy in the next couple of months

The big candle gwp sounds nice, better than the last reward week gwp, but not enough to induce me to spend £175 on a whim.

bendybusbuggy1 · 13/10/2025 08:18

I'd like to buy something (have BD vouchers) but none of what I want is in stock online. Not sure what the point is of putting on a promotional event and to not then stock up on pretty popular stuff like Sunday riley 🤷‍♀️

JoRaRaRa · 13/10/2025 08:43

I'm not bothered about any of the offers which is probably a good thing as my bank card needs to cool down 🤣

Christmaschristmas · 13/10/2025 09:12

Isabelle70 · 12/10/2025 10:09

@Christmaschristmas I suffered with it for about 20 years, had always been treated as acne. I visited a different doctor for something unrelated and she asked if I had rosacea, I had type 2 with the redness, swelling and pustules. The doctor prescribed Rozex which helped a little but I didn’t like the texture.
I then subscribed to Dermantica and that prescription made a huge difference and put the rosacea into remission.
You could try Dermatica or there are other similar subscriptions Skin and Me.

Thank you, it might be Rozex which he has been prescribed in the past, but he didn't use it regularly if it was (and then probably complained that it didn't work!)

We'll give the products I've ordered a go, but if no joy, then will give a subscription a try, so thank you for the recommendation 😊

Thank you so much for your help everyone, he'll have better skin than me soon! 😂

Email from Boots. Several stacking Lancome offers

20% off Lancome
7 piece GWP when buying 2 full size items - one must be skincare
Further GWP when buying 3 products (this gwp is 125ml Bifacial Eye Make Up Remover)

OP posts:
DidILeaveTheGasOn · 13/10/2025 20:05

Went away for the weekend and took my Lancome set with me, I was rather impressed I must say. The case was the perfect size to chuck lots of other sprays and things in. I wasn't particularly impressed by the cleanser but I am probably being very unfair - my daughter and I had our make up done by a MUA and the Lancome cleanser took 95% of it off, with a bit of a panda eye remaining.
The face cream is tremendous, I am in love!

Thelifeofawife · 13/10/2025 22:54

I used the Medik8 C-tetra for the first time today and I love it. I can’t believe it’s been tucked away for 2 months waiting to be tried.
I did also use the Kate Somerville Exfolikate at the weekend for the first time, so whether that has contributed I don’t know. But today, my skin looked so much fresher than it has in ages, and that was with a rough night of barely any sleep.
I also used the Tatcha brightening eye cream which I thought really smoothed my lines. But I’ll reserve judgement on that one until I’ve tired it under make up

CB Korean edit is on priority access. Actually pretty good for £30. Thought it would be more.

Any news on when the skin edit with the Bioeffect will be available? 😊

I’ve been suffering with perioral dermatitis and on the look out for a good, ideally non perfumed barrier cream, can any of you beauty gurus recommend one please? Thanks!

After buying HN FAC last week and SNK FAC this morning, I'm happy for it to wait a week 🤣
