That’s awful. The worst I’ve had was being obviously ignored in Selfridges in Oxford St at the Pat McGrath concession

I'd love to be ignored in Selfridges, seriously. They usually hound me at the perfume counter when I'm happy to spritz away uninterrupted, taking no account of any non verbal 'please leave me alone until I'm ready' cues. I'd imagine they are on commission as you don't get this in Space NK.

I have spared you all the details of the sales staff’s appalling behaviour in Boots, but it was really bad. I contemplated a complaint, but decided against me. I am trying 😹 rise above it and ‘let it go!’

Oh I wish you’d complain! Boots are beyond appalling and really need to train their staff.. and actually get more staff! I was just wanting to order some Mac in their BF sale, but I think it will arrive chucked in a big box, broken, and I can’t face their terrible CS, so I aborted mission.

You’re right @TheFoodLife - it was pretty bad. I couldn’t believe the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism.

Just puts you off buying. 🙄

It does indeed @Doglover73 - I was motivated to buy in both JL and Boots but gave up!

I was followed around a Boots store once - it was so odd !!! I should have challenged the woman.

@BlueLimes - it sucks, doesn’t it? I actually asked DH if I ‘looked like a shoplifter’ yesterday. He was no help…just laughed!

I don’t think I do, I’m just a Middle Aged woman with ££ to spend. They’re loss - much better buts in SpaceNK/ CB anyway.

Totally agree they need to sort their staff out. The Boots near me is lovely though. It doesn’t have all the brands unfortunately.

I had a similar experience in tkmaxx, the lady who had opened the perfume cabinet took me to the till to pay for the perfumes, that's fine and expected, but then after I'd paid, the same lady followed me around the store like I was going to steal everything else 🙄 it just put me right off and I ended up leaving without buying anything else.
