Thanks @OvaHere will take a look, I’m interested in kbeauty so this could be my intro!

IlovePond · 14/10/2025 12:11

Apparently my Beauty Drop box is coming today, which is exciting. I am wobbling now about whether to cancel. Basically, if I KNEW that next year’s calendar was going to be as good as this year’s, I would definitely keep BD going. But what if Xmas 2026 is full of lash and brow serums, dry shampoo, Bibbi perfume and face powder??? 🙀😹

Then you get to buy other nice things that feel like they're free. Or spend it on xmas pressies. Get the box first then see how you feel.

I’ve been suffering with perioral dermatitis and on the look out for a good, ideally non perfumed barrier cream, can any of you beauty gurus recommend one please? Thanks!

La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume is my go to for any skin barrier repair for immediate effect, then after a day or two I use aveeno skin relief cream, the one with the blue lid.

@2025istheyeari agree with @Noshadelamp - LRP Cicaplast Baume fixed my POD in less than 24 hours.

I had a bad flare up recently and had red raw skin under my eyes.

The Dr Jart+ Cicapair So Soothing Treatment sorted it out in record time - I was really impressed with it.

Thanks so much to all of you for the recommendations! I’ve ordered the Roche Posay as have used their sunscreen in the past with no reaction 🤞🏻

My BD box has arrived. Apart from the retinol item I will use everything. I really like everything else. I was a bit surprised that the parcel wasn’t sealed on arrival, though!

The trouble with keeping BD going to save for the a/c is I would never buy anything else from Liberty - I love their calendars, but that’s about it. If next year’s calendar wasn’t for me, I would be a bit stuffed!

Having said that, I have just checked the BD t&c and it says that you can use your credit up to 24 months after cancellation. So this means I could keep it running until next summer, have a look at the a/c contents for 2026 and either buy it or cancel and buy 2027’s instead!

I do like getting these little boxes. I think I will give it a ponder over the next couple of days.

It seems ridiculous to be thinking about next year’s a/cs!

OvaHere · 14/10/2025 16:42

My box arrived this aft. Very happy with it, a great selection of stuff.

Did yours have the correct details on the cardboard leaflet @OvaHere? My leaflet was for a different box - containing, for example, Bibbi perfume, (I was very glad not to have got that!)

I couldn’t work out if I have got the wrong stuff/different to everyone else’s, or if I have just had a sneak preview of January’s box 🤷‍♀️

Yes it did. I think Bibbi was in the last box so you may have got that leaflet.

This is my plan, to save for next year's BAC or the 2027 one 😊

@keepincool I’m still unsure about the box. I like the cream and serum, but that’s about it. Boots usually do a good sale after Christmas with lots of Lancome gift sets.

I can't resist the LE Kensington plum lip gloss any longer 🤣 watch it be on spacenk tomorrow 🤣 although, at least I've used my credit for the FAC 😁

I bought all three today. I know I suit browns and oranges, so was going to get Kensington Plum and Chameleon Chaos, tried the pink and it looks good too! The shimmer is perfect.

Mine hasn't arrived yet. I thought it would be today but I guess tomorrow.

Did you order them online or get them from the shops? The other 2 both look gorgeous too, but it was the plum that caught my eye. I'm going to think about the other 2. I wouldn't mind getting one of the dior sparkle ones too and I need to stop spending 🤣🙈

BakeOffRewatch · 14/10/2025 20:54

Went to Harrods, Selfridges and Liberty today. Bought them in Liberty.

Oh so they have them just not online 😕 if they do put them online, I might just have to buy the other two with my credit 😁

BakeOffRewatch · 14/10/2025 21:15

They don’t have the £50 trio set in stores, that was only ever online, and is now sold out online. I bought them 3x£20 for £60. If you mean on the Liberty site, yeah not in stock. The Liberty site doesn’t reflect store stock at all.
