Thank you @OvaHere and everyone else. I think I've said a few times how much this thread means to me, helping me though a lot of stress and health issues.

Also disappointed in the CB edits but am still really enjoying my buy of the year Lancome beauty box, so don't really mind.

Did you manage to order some stuff from Ysl? I added some more stuff to my basket then when I went to pay, the promo codes weren't accepted. I'm not sure if that's because I've already used them or if they've stopped the codes 😕

@Noshadelamp I keep forgetting I've got that lovely Lancome box because I put it away for Xmas. Probably my favourite bargain of the year.

Me too, I keep thinking I've only got the 15ml tatcha night repair and Medik8 night cream in my BACs but there's also the one in the lancome set 😁

There's 2 and an eye cream I think. 😄

Yes I’ve just placed an order. The codes worked but I just did as one order in case.
However, because I dithered, the 30ml had gone out of stock, so I had to get the 50ml. Technically I didn’t need to get either really, as I’ve also bought the discovery set which includes the Mon Paris. I got the men’s discovery set too, and I’ll decide whether to gift that to DS or DF for Xmas. I got a ton of freebies added to my basket as well!

@JoRaRaRa It’s a good job that I have sold a load of things on Vinted recently, and added more to sell today!

It's so tempting to overuse and irritate skin more. I know as I do it! 🙄
The dermatologist also said i use way too many products and I am causing it to be worse. 🤷🙄
Which is possibly why I overbuy then look at them wondering if they'll make it worse 🙄🤣
Glad your GP is good. The trouble is once you irritate it it takes a while to settle back down. I have zero patience and expect immediate results 🤣

Just read other page.
The dermatologist prescribed soolantra mainly for the texture. I had type 1 no pustules. Redness and texture and flared very fast.
Everytime I wore make up, which was daily as I'm pale and the redness bothered me as well as people's comments 🙄😢 it looked dry and clung to the texture and made it look worse. The only make up that didn't do that was the erborian green cream for redness.
I had laser for the redness. It worked OK but did come back and was expensive. I think I had 2 lots of 8 sessions. Over 2 years.

I couldn't get the codes to work again and had decided I wanted to get an aftershave for my husband and the discovery set for my nephew so I had to use my husband's phone to get the codes to work. I added in the black opium glitter that I bought earlier so I could get the freebie 😁 so now I need to try to cancel my earlier order 😮‍💨🤣

@JoRaRaRa Haha, that sounds like me. I ordered extra products to make sure I got the freebies, and I’ll send whichever is my least favourite. To be honest I probably didn’t need to order as much anyway, but because I’d already dithered I didn’t want to risk it. The FOMO is real!

By the way, the Graff fragrance really settled down and I agree, it would be good for day time wear this time of year. I think it quite suits me.
When the scent was very strong it reminded me of another fragrance, but I can’t pinpoint which one it is

The amount of freebies given by YSL is brilliant - a tester fragrance for every bottle you buy, so if you don’t like it you can return the unopened big bottle (I think this is a fantastic idea), I got 2 mascaras, lipstick, cleanser, another tester fragrance and a YSL pouch/make up bag. Merry Christmas to me! 😁

@Thelifeofawife I'm glad you like the graff, I really like it too. Did you get any of the others from last year's harrods F calendar? I also bought the Roja and the merchant of Venice. I did buy the oriana but that's gone back to the seller.

He doesn't use many products now, but hopefully these new ones will help.

I'm always trying to use up my dry skin products on him as I have oily skin, but I'll stop that now!

I think I like buying beauty products more than I like using them! 😳

It must be very frustrating to not be able to use all the lovely products though, so I feel your pain.

@JoRaRaRa Yes I got the Roja as well but I’ve not collected it yet.
I was also looking at Killian good girl gone bad but the parcel went missing (seller and I got a refund), I’ve not bothered since because I’ve bought so many others

I smelt gggb on Wednesday in harvey nicks and it is gorgeous 😍 I've bought a bottle of it from someone on vinted. Shame about yours 😔 I keep getting scared of that happening to me when I've managed picked up a good deal.

The roja hasn't yet arrived here so I can't say whether or not I like it yet. I've received the merchant of Venice and I like it but not as much as the graff.

Got the YSL freebie and bought Davines set. I think I need a break before all the skincare edits come out😅

Sorry to jump on your post but would you say the Erborian green cream is worth it? I have constant red nose and am always looking for ways to hide it (it doesn’t help that I have a big nose too and I don’t particularly like it and then it’s there’s looking like rudolf all the time)

I use this too. It does work. It's not full coverage like a foundation but it makes quite a difference in toning down redness. I also use it under skin tints/foundation.

Thank you @Bransterfor reminding me about TikTok shop, there was another code which brought it down to £66 so have purchased it.

This is the Latest in Beauty British Beauty box that was lre recently launched.

@Christmaschristmas I suffered with it for about 20 years, had always been treated as acne. I visited a different doctor for something unrelated and she asked if I had rosacea, I had type 2 with the redness, swelling and pustules. The doctor prescribed Rozex which helped a little but I didn’t like the texture.
I then subscribed to Dermantica and that prescription made a huge difference and put the rosacea into remission.
You could try Dermatica or there are other similar subscriptions Skin and Me.

It's OK tbh. I wouldn't buy a fullsize without trying. Im fair/cool and it can look ashy depending on your skin tone, and mine depending what day it is. 🙄🤣
You can use as a primer as well. The coverage isn't great but it does tone it down a bit. The Dr Jart one made me look more ashy and did show texture/pores more than the erborian.
I'd pick up a sample or sachet if possible first as its a lot to fork out. ♥️
I'll look in my stash after and see if I have a little pot to put a bit in. Im sure I've got one half open and ill post if you like for you to try.
