If you get to smell Black Creme do report back. I'm not sure when I will next get to a Selfridges.

Got Black Creme, Black Karak and Black Mango on my wrists and inner elbows. Annoyed I used one wrist on Dirty Rice earlier cos would love to have sprayed Dirty Guava. Love them all, will report back properly when I get home. Going to Liberty now so any requests?

No discovery sets for BORNTOSTANDOUT at Harrods or Liberty. I’d only really want to try the Black range I think. Dirty Milk is a Cult Beauty exclusive.

Very low sillage. Have to have nose on skin. Has longevity and doesn’t smell too different from first spray. You can’t smell it at all on paper or tester sticks. Only on skin. I can still smell it now 4hrs later but have to drink it in.

Smells like Malibu/very strong peach schnapps. It smells like 2for1 Happy Hour at All Bar One to me. Not an office scent. VERY strong, high silage and longevity. Honestly smells like spirits. The alcohol aspect has mellowed a bit now so it’s like dried mango bars you can buy as snacks.

Really interesting first spray, like chai, quickly mellows to a boring Oud which I don’t even like. It is a nice Oud though. I really like the initial smell though, exactly what it describes. Also not an office scent. Think all the Black range are Extreme Extrait with high oil content.

I really like this. Not two sharp or strong on the nose like Black Mango or Black Karak. I can’t get the Oud, or maybe it’s an Oud I actually like. Ve try soft and creamy on the nose.

It’s making me want to buy Dirty Milk blind from Cult Beauty.

Waved around Drunk Lovers, too fruity and sweet for me.

Didn’t spray, but waved around some of the Ex Nihilo, Sweet Morphine actually smells like dirty nappies to me, how weird is that!? I wonder if there’s a baby product or wipe it smells like.

It was fun!

DH thought Black Karak smelled soapy and I am getting that now. I’m also getting the Oud in black crème now.

I feel like I will really like Black Creme. I need to get to a Selfridges. I looked on the brand site but you can't get a sample of it.

I was reading about the brand, it was started by an investment banker in 2022 and C earlier this year they had funding from L’Oreal BOLD to go global. The counter staff wasn’t even there at Harrods (I waited a while), and at Selfridges it didn’t have a dedicated counter. So seems like their marketing is thin. I REALLY like all their perfumes. Not wearable necessarily but really enjoyable to smell. And bringing back all these memories. They need to do a huge discovery set.

There are some sites I saw that will decant it for you, not sure how legit they are.

I noticed when taking it off that the BORNTOSTANDOUT Black range are all sparkly. Not mentioned in the product description. My inner elbows and one wrist were very glittery. And they still smell very strong!

Hmm... that puts me off slightly. Not sure I want unintended sparkle.

I am giving up on Libre, I will find who to give it to. Just not for me, but it's OK designer scent. Olfactive o gourmand is just odd to my nose, that is for the bin most likely.

SNK due to land today although I've not been having much luck with next day delivery, fingers crossed. Also liberty beauty drop which has the purple fugazzi , not usually a fugazzi fan byt will try it.

Liberty 1875 this morning, sweet floral with a tobacco smoky edge. Growing on me.

I loved libre when it first came out and bought a fb a few years ago, now I think its very generic and me. Prefer paradoxe.

Veronique Gabai Noire de Mai from the 2024 summer Scent with Love Liberty Kit. Trying to use up all my samples so I can justify one big bottle of Ex Nihilo Spiky Muse or BORNTOSTANDOUT on my dressing table.

I didn’t like this in summer, assumed as a floral it would be summery but it’s really nice in autumn. Kind of like a very soft delicate scarf.

@OvaHere the BORNTOSTANDOUT Extreme Extrait were still smellable (?) on my wrists and inner elbow this morning, even though scrubbed with soap last night. The Black Karak smelled like oud without the soapy smell. The Black Mango isn’t that noticeable anymore. The Black Creme smells amazing. The Dirty Rice did wash off last night.

@BakeOffRewatch the BORNTOSTANDOUT website have 15ml size of Black Creme on there now. I signed up a few weeks ago but it hadn't launched at the time. WELCOME10 takes 10% off making it $123 inc shipping (from the US) which is around £90.

I've ordered one with the justifications that I'm going to sell a few unwanted bits from SNK fragrance which will cover the bulk of it and it's quite a big trip for me to get to the nearest Selfridges. Even if I really love it I'd rather have 15ml as I'm not keen on owning many 50 mls and above.

I'm expecting to like it as I'm a Quentin Bisch fan but imagine if not I could sell on.

SNK waiting for me at home. Very lucky today as Mr Rainbows was, unusually, wfh due to dentist appointment and had only just got back when it arrived.

Mr Rainbows fed up of all these deliveries! I gave him some manly stuff from the liberty mens calendar but he's probably sick of it now as is my daughter. Ive probably got thd only 12 year old with access to all this boots who shows no interest, she was into it last year but through excess I've put her off.

I'm still not well, so I've not really been wearing perfume. I've worn Luna a couple of times (my main scent of the summer, ) which I still love. Also Maria Callas (Merchant of Venice) but I don't seem to love this as much as when I bought it.

I've ordered the Harvey Nicks calendar because I was so disappointed at my Look Fantastic one being cancelled. Not even sure there's much in it that I definitely want. Daft.

Shall I get the Space NK one?

I keep on thinking about calendars @Ohjoyohbliss and then not because I don’t want many and I do have lots of samples. It is fun though. I am still thinking of getting lots of samples and refilling an old calendar.

SOTD is slow dance by byredo- violet which dries off and then vanilla and a bit of incense. I quite like it now but not a full bottle. It’s from a 24sample set I got last year. If you want a bottle of byredo, keep an eye out closer to November as I think it is seasonal- but you can get the cost of the samples against a full bottle

I think Space NK have done better job this year, I am happy I ordered it but I don't know few of the perfumes.
