They look nice @BakeOffRewatch would have been nice if M&S put one of those in the AC.

I tried the two limited edition perfumes in M&S yesterday. The Winter Nights smells like one of their existing scents renamed, I think it’s the SDJ dupe. I didn’t like it but I liked the Sparkle & Shine. £10 for 100ml

Sote dries van noten chamomile satin, which is lavendery, lovely scent from the selfridges frag box

SOTD was Liberty Maze but all I can smell now is the Lucius I tested on the back of my hand.

The M&S Sparkle and Shine EDT is meant to be a dupe for Tom Ford Lost Cherry

I think you’re the first person I’ve read who’s bought that, what were your favs @lokijet ? What did you think of the curation? Have you made good headway through most of them?

Can anyone tell me about the strength/longevity of Byredo Mojave Ghost EDP? I’d like to use up my Liberty Beauty Drop credit on a fragrance before I cancel (not because I’m unhappy with it but because I need to save money). I have the Mojave Ghost hair perfume that I use as more of a body spray and like the scent so I’m thinking of getting the 50ml EDP.

Alternatively, I could get a backup of Diptyque Orpheon or potentially one of the Diptyque discovery sets with the five 7.5ml sizes, but I think I’d prefer a full size bottle. Thanks for any help!

Its a bit fleeting, like a ghost itself. I still like it. There's the absolu version which is a bit stronger but not quite the same. A bit sweeter than the original.

Byredo isnt known for being long lasting in general so if you want something that stays on all day id consider other houses.

Yes, fending off over zealous sales assistants is part of the selfridges experience. I usually try to give leace me alone vibes and if they ask.if I need help I say not right now let me just browse. Gotta be firm. Unless you actually do want help of course.

I like D&S Durga Pistachio alot but I am disappointed about the longevity. I wonder if it was in sprayer bottle would apply and it last very better

Ive had the spray in the mini set. Didn't question the longevity but have not tried the rollerball.

I bought the byredo grand discovery set as I had this last year. This is what tax rebates were made for! I was going to buy a coat but I have some coats from last year that fit fine and I thought wait til January sales. Perfume is more important!

I am going for Bois d`Argent by Dior. This is such a beautifly blended scent, very classy amber 👌. I am not surprised by the high rating

I asked Byredo if I cold use the voucher against the absolu range and if they do I will buy it as I want bal d'afrique absolu

SOTD is M&S Discover White Coconut. It gives me a headache 😫. I sprayed some last night and had a bad headache and it came back after I sprayed this. I will try it a few more times, think I’m scent overloaded with all I’ve tried this week and hope I’m not coming down with something.

As suspected, Commodity isn’t included in the Liberty 20% off today but Ex Nihilo and Byredo are.

I found the carnal flower! Hidden away in draw 7 as a PP had suggested. Thanks guys as I would have chucked the box without knowing.

Not a fan so on ebay it goes..think its the camphor. Never like camphor in a perfume.

Glad you found it hiding in drawer 7 😊 I didn't like it at first but i smelt it on my skin again about 10 or 15 mins later and thought it smelt quite nice. It is still on my maybe pile, I think I need to go try it again. That and acne studios. I wish I'd picked up portraits of a lady on vinted when I saw it for £15, I now refuse to pay the £30 most people are charging when I've seen it for half the price.

Oh that's bad news about the m&s. I was thinking of buying the Winter nights perfume, but I'm not sure if I will now 🤔
Are you buying any of the other perfumes? I had a look last night and there are a few I'd like but even with 20% off, I can't afford any. I would've really liked, guerlain ambre Samar, pdm oriana or chloe le Parfum. They don't have the last one though which probably would've been just about affordable. Also, I logged into my account last night but today it's saying my password is wrong, so even if I want to buy something, I can't 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣
