I went a bit nuts with the liberty discount today on trinny bits.
Anyone got any feedback on the miracle blur or the bff eye serum?

My Beauty drop gets delivered to my mum's so I have to go and pick it up. Looking forward to some of those items

Doglover73 · 13/01/2026 15:05

I wasnt keen on trinny miracle blur. Although lots love it. Just sat on my skin

ElizabethG81 · 13/01/2026 15:56

The Beauty Hall of Fame Kit comes down to £133 at checkout today, plus there would also be double loyalty points.

Thanks for this, I had bought it at this price and had a £10 voucher so down to £123

Arrearing50 · 13/01/2026 16:30

@ElizabethG81 thank you - I’d not realised this! I bought it because for £123 it’s a few £ more than the on sale price of the microtox on space NK and I can Vinted the brown make
up!

Tirednamechange · 13/01/2026 17:37

My box arrived. I must be the minority but I love the hera reigns, I love an oud and thinks this ones gorgeous, going to try the sana Jardin later too.

PacificState · 13/01/2026 17:51

I’m undecided on Miracle Blur. It’s no good as a primer IMO. But on days when I’m wearing no concealer/foundation at all, it seems to make my under eyes look just a bit better - enough to be worth it. I am slightly baffled by it as a product though to be honest.

TragicMuse · 13/01/2026 17:54

I’m not getting the discount for today to add to my basket…

Arrearing50 · 13/01/2026 18:00

@Seagullstopitnow i had bff eye serum in my 30s and found it good

It's an automated one when you're logged in and only on the relevant products....

I think I like the Beauty Box for the Breakfast at Tiffany like thrills. I’m probably not their target customer, as I don’t have a huge disposable income and I like the Inkey List and don’t wear much makeup. For me the thrill of receiving a beautifully packaged box, with little treats inside, that I’d never buy myself, is my big luxury.

I loved it when it was free, cancelled when it went to £25 and rejoined on a special offer of £20 for 3 months. Now I’m paying full price again I think it still hits the sweet spot for me.

I love love to go to Liberty and potter around-I save my vouchers for my Blink sessions-it’s the most seductive and secret Blink Studio there is. although this Christmas I bought a ridiculous Topshop coat there which is just so much fun, and felt free.

I am getting my teen to find her signature perfume, and all the little bottles have been ideal for that. All the Liberty slightly masculine scents work for her.

I know it’s a bit cheeky that Liberty are giving us products that they’ve got for free, but I sort of don’t mind. I couldn’t bear the thought of Liberty going under. I used to love shopping there in my twenties when I did have cash to splash. I lived the bridge but to the lingerie section and was devastated when that closed.

HumBumBum · 13/01/2026 18:45

I‘ve been on the bff eye serum for a couple of weeks and thinking I need more coverage for my 50‘s dark circles.

Blsming you lot for making me look again at the Hero‘s kit!

Sexentric · 13/01/2026 18:52

Does anyone know whether diptyque will have a discount this week? Im after Orpheon

I love the hera too 😊 I've bought an 8ml of it on vinted. I'm not 100% convinced on the sana jardin, I need to try it properly.

I think I might too! I've had a few other perfumes from them and haven't been a fan tbh but the notes sound nice on paper.

I also loved that bridge to lingerie. It was such a gorgeous department. I mourn the Liberty of old, when it wasn’t trying to impress oligarchs and the Christmas department was downstairs.

Lovelysheep · 13/01/2026 20:27

Oh yes Somemonsters the Christmas and sales basement. I’ve still got a full reel of grossgrain ribbon I bought for £5 over 20 years ago. It would cost £100s in their sale now.

I think the perfume was last time but not candles. It doesn’t say anything in the terms and conditions.

Seagullstopitnow · 13/01/2026 21:22

Oh! Adding to the list of carriers...
Amazon shipping are delivering mine!

HumBumBum · 13/01/2026 22:54

Ooh, love the Kate cleanser, I’d re-buy immediately if I hadn’t got a Beauty Hall Kit (with full size cleanser) on the way!

I haven’t been in the store for ages and you’ve reminded me how much I loved it. The bridge! But also just the whole vibe. I used to leave my office near St James’ Park and go Oxford Circus to meet my sister who worked in Soho. We’d go in Dickins and Jones and Liberty and then meander down Regent Street to Caffe Concerto where we’d eat panini and cream cakes. Sounds so pedestrian now! There was also a lovely little shop on the other side of Regent Street, down a side street near the Oxford Circus end. I can’t remember the name, it was a lovely shop with all the innovative and boutique brands we now see in Liberty and Space NK and Cult Beauty.

Make or buy some small jute or muslin cotton bags, squirt perfume either onto cotton wool balls, blotting paper, coffee filter paper or shredded old 100% cotton clothing, and stuff the bags. Hang up in wardrobe or pop into a drawer and it will scent your clothing.

Thank you, I would do this for car definitely.

TragicMuse · 14/01/2026 07:47

I’ve tried the Votary balm and for me it’s very greasy. Which is disappointing. I put it on 20 minutes ago and it’s still not sunk in.

I don’t have time to cleanse and restart so I’ll just be a shiny greasy mess for the day. FFS.
