I haven't received my box yet, but now that I know the contents it's a complete dud for me. I've tried everything bar one item in it.

BIossomtoes · 11/04/2026 08:02

TreesinthePark · 11/04/2026 07:00

Thank you for the link @Another76543

This is possibly the worst box ever for me. I'm totally underwhelmed and have tried all but one of the items already. Here's hoping July is better!

I agree. There’s just one item that I’m looking forward to, the rest will go straight to Vinted.

BCSurvivor · 11/04/2026 08:45

Oohhh, I think this is a great box!
But I do agree about one of the items being in everything!

MiaN · 11/04/2026 08:49

Not impressed, I may cancel before charged for next month.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 11/04/2026 08:56

Not too excited about this one, also I hate there are no ways to delay delivery as I'm going away for a couple of days. They said last week they were dispatching on the 14th which would have been fine but now it's arriving to an empty house.

msmillicentcat · 11/04/2026 08:59

Oh no not the PK again…… looking forward to a couple of the products but not the perfumes sadly, had these before and not keen.

dc82 · 11/04/2026 09:10

After not loving the previous box I decided to cancel my subscription a couple of months ago and I just popped on to see if the spoilers for the next one would have me kicking myself hard - but I’m relieved to say not at all. I’m still sat on beauty credit and I’ve not felt the urge to spend that yet either. Send help I may be broken 😂

Beautyfox · 11/04/2026 09:15

I’m disappointed. I have never liked a PK product and that blue perfume brand really doesn’t work for me. Admittedly I’d not smelt that particular one but every one I’ve ever tried by that brand reminds me of a stale bar from the 1990’s when people use to smoke. I know some people love it but I find it repulsive. The only thing that’s new for me is the night cream so let’s hope that’s amazing!

RadiatorBTUQ · 11/04/2026 09:18

PK is junk. It's certainly not a premium brand, and I've never found a product of theirs that works. And it all smells awful.

Omorovzica makes me laugh with their quoted prices - it's totally made up given they appear in every teenage beauty box as well!

PK is a classic example of s brand devaluing itself by being in every beauty box/ edit/ calendar going.

IDontHateRainbows · 11/04/2026 09:23

I will keep my bd membership for the discounts and free postage as its worth it for that, but not these crappy boxes.

JoRaRaRa · 11/04/2026 09:40

I'll probably put most of it on vinted 😮‍💨

Housewife2010 · 11/04/2026 09:44

The new thread is ready and waiting for the excitement over the imminent April box. https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/style_and_beauty/5515441-liberty-beauty-drop-spoiler-from-the-despatch-date-part-11 www.mumsnet.com/talk/style_and_beauty/5515441-liberty-beauty-drop-spoiler-from-the-despatch-date-part-11]]]]

How does the payment cycle work?
Does anyone know when is the best time to cancel?

Lovelysheep · 11/04/2026 10:55

I paid for April and cancelled for May. I asked if I’d still get Aprils box and was told I would-let’s see if it turns up.

Growlybear83 · 11/04/2026 10:58

Im really disappointed with this box too - it’s by far the least interesting for me since I joined the BD. I love perfumes, but surely Liberty can manage a bit better than 2ml samples.

ByWittyGoose · 11/04/2026 11:25

I'm up to my eyeballs in Phillip Kingsley!
Not too excited about this box, but i had a little sniff of Tana meadow last time I was in store and loved it so I'm happy to be able to try it properly

MsNobody · 11/04/2026 15:23

I don't normally click on spoilers but the comments made me do it. It's pretty boring especially PK and GA.. might be time to spend the credit and cancel.

teenagersandalittleone · 11/04/2026 15:27

StillSpartacus · 11/04/2026 15:37

I’m also dissatisfied, looking at the spoiler info, but am hoping the perfumes smell better than they sound. Eau de swimming pool isn’t doing it for me, even if the swimming pool is in the med.

I also got a larger Margaret Dabbs foot cream in a Christmas box and it’s a PK product for me. It’s like Vicks vaporub.

Ive smelt them both before and i do like them but they are very different, extreme ends of the perfume spectrum even. Swimming pool isnt your council run leisure centre chlorine affair, but a beautiful tranquil open bathing pond in the grounds of a luxurious private estate.

Tana meadow is quite sweet but musky/ mallowy, a gentle and easy scent.

ClutteredPalace · 11/04/2026 16:57

I'm quite looking forward to the perfume, I've wanted to try both of them for a while. It's a shame they're only 2ml though.

Lovelysheep · 11/04/2026 17:58

I think of Philip Kingsley as a low end product, I’m not sure why, maybe it’s the packaging or the ubiquitous of it. Would it be any good to put on my hair pre swimming, and under a hat, to prevent chlorine damage.

I love trying the perfumes but 2ml seems cheap and cheeky.

TreesinthePark · 11/04/2026 18:23

I have cancelled my BD subscription today, it ends 4th May. That bloody foot cream has tipped me over the edge!

I don't have high expectations for the boxes anyway and saw it as a fun way to save for the advent. It annoyed me more that Liberty edits/GWPs include so many BD box repeats because it makes it hard to use credit/vouchers if you don't want the advent.

I'd re-join and cancel after a month if the discount makes financial sense for any edit/GWP I might fancy in future.

Edit to add that I'm now into Vinted and know I can pick up items I like from future BD boxes on there.

Addictedtobeauty · 11/04/2026 18:37

I am another one disappointed by the latest drop - but I think it may be a me problem rather than a BD one.

I’ve been a subscriber for a few years and have tried so many things that it’s hard to impress me now. This one contains lots of repeats but if I was relatively new to beauty boxes, it would feel fresher. There’s no excuse for the PK though.

I think this will be my last quarter of the BD. I’ll wait for the AC contents that will be released late June and see if it’s worth hanging on for the discount then stop. As @TreesinthePark points out, can always rejoin for a month if anything tempts. Plus they’ve disproportionately favoured new subscribers over loyal ones in the last year or so, with discounts etc.
