I don't like the new style box either - I think it's less secure as you can just open it very easily whereas if I recall correctly the older rectangle style you had to pull a serrated piece off to undo the box

I noticed that, it's not sealed, you could open and close it without any evidence of doing it left.
Got the leave in hair from Sisley. Hera's not for me, don't hate it just not for me.
Sana Jardin got a 2ml in CB box and wasn't fussed then so that's not a keeper.
Wanted to try the KS cleanser will last for ages as will only use ocassionally.
Fave is the Votary. Make a good pocket hand cream if not suitable for face.
Looking at Suqqu ingredients it seems to be a glycerin and Dimethocone primer type. So this is my box I'll get the most use from so far.

@TreesintheParki often think the Liberty scents are more like room fragrances than people ones. You’re so right about it smelling like a hotel.
You could probably mix with some oil and make an air freshener.

LBTY Hera Reigns smells like a very expensive and posh ash tray to me. That’s harsh, it has dried down to something interesting and nice but it’s more a room fragrance than a personal fragrance I think, very incense-y.

Sana Jardin is still smelling like cleaner to me at the moment.

The SUQQU Aquafons is great in summer. I love the brand. I also love Votary.

Nott too bothered by hair stuff and foaming face wash, not tried these two before. I got the Sisley Cream 230 to protect hair from heat. The instructions on the product page says it’s heat-ACTIVATED which isn’t mentioned in the Liberty little beauty drop guide, it’s a bit lazy and describes both as leave in conditioners. Hera Reigns has not lasted at all on me. Box arrived 20:07 it's now 21.14 and it's gone. That's a surprise from the first sniffs.

I hadn’t thought about the box being unsecured-but you’re right-it would be easy to tamper with it.

I did wonder if the Kate exfoliating foaming cream would be a bit harsh, I like the idea of using it on my hands and feet.

I’ve used the watery thing tonight- I think I look extra juicy!

Why is everything exfoliating these days radiance masks, exfoliating cleansers, reveal toners, glycolic serums, it’s a wonder anyone has any skin left!

Do you actually get a tracking number? Mine are usually delivered by Yodel but never in many years of being a beauty drop member did I actually receive an email to say it’s dispatched apart from today and at that it only said tour box is on its way but no tracking number 🤔 perhaps its because I am in NI

Re Sana Jardin, someone on Reddit posted an email they had in response to querying this (2 months ago):

I totally agree! I sometimes feel that I’m the only one who doesn’t use retinols and acids!

I hate exfoliators too. I do use retinal think north of 40 it does seem to do something, possibly…

My boxes get delivered by Yodel - I usually get the dispatch email from Liberty the same day as it's delivered though for some reason.

I was wondering about the discount on makeup today and I have some credit. I need some new concealer but Liberty don't sell my usual Kosas concealer. Can anyone recommend a nice hydrating concealer at all? If not, I might just have to spend it on makeup I don't really need (but want) although I also have my eye on the new Liberty/Adidas collab! 😆

Make or buy some small jute or muslin cotton bags, squirt perfume either onto cotton wool balls, blotting paper, coffee filter paper or shredded old 100% cotton clothing, and stuff the bags. Hang up in wardrobe or pop into a drawer and it will scent your clothing.

There was no security to the box at all, unlike the older rectangle ones.

In the unlikely event of an empty box being delivered or missing items I expect Liberty CS would sort out a replacement.

I don’t know who delivers my box, I don’t know it’s coming and it gets left outside on the street. I was lucky to get it this time, last time it went missing. Liberty were lovely about it, I went into store to pick a new one up and they’d gift wrapped the box and put it in an anniversary bag-I felt very special.

How do you use your concealer? Under eyes or on cheeks and forehead? For small patches or big areas?

Mine’s finally arrived. The Hera is making me feel a bit sick but I absolutely love the Sana Jardin which is a spring/summer fragrance to me so I’ll tuck it away for a couple of months. I’m already a big Suqqu fan and the rest will get used. The Hera’s already gone in the bin.

@Blossomtoes Same here. I really don’t like oud in more than minute quantities. The SJ smells lovely to me.
How would you use the Suqqu? Extra step before serum?

The leaflet suggests it as a first step. I can’t be arsed to add another step so I’m going to slap it on then add moisturiser and not bother with serum. I’ll see how it goes.

Generally just under eyes and around nose and chin, small areas.

The Lisa Eldridge pinpoint concealer has great reviews, but has a completely different way of applying, have to watch a few videos. I’d like to try it.

I love Glossier Stretch Concealer. It's very moisturising and works very well under my eyes & around my nose. I've been using it since Glossier came to the UK - so about 8 years now. It's not available in Liberty - you can get it from Glossier.com, Space NK & Sephora.
