Hi, I am considering signing up but wondering if I have understood correctly how it works because it seems too good to be true 😂

I pay £25 per month which I get back to spend how I want & get 4 gift boxes a year in effect for free???

what have I missed?

narniabusiness · 30/09/2025 10:39

@Mabellucieattwell You get back £20 of the £25 to spend. It used to be the full amount but it changed about a year ago

This.
So effectively the boxes cost £15 each.

Mabellucieattwell · 30/09/2025 10:58

Thanks 🤩 so that still sounds great value! I will probably give it a go then. Never signed up for anything like this before so it’s quite exciting 😂

SoloCat · 30/09/2025 11:28

Thanks for the new thread 🌸

I was grumpy when they introduced the £5 per month charge but I still get more than my money's worth and I really enjoy looking forward to the boxes. Quarterly is a really nice amount, often enough to have something to look forward to but not so often that I'm over-run with things (well, I am over-run with things but that's my own doing).

As I'm slowly working my way through the huge amount of cleansers I seem to have accumulated from various kits, has anyone been disappointed with the Sunday Riley Aquamelt cleanser?
It was from the Festival kit, and when I opened it this morning it had completely split!
Very runny, even after shaking, and the clear oil just ran out of the tube, minus the blue gel, so a lot of waste.
Some reviews online seemed to mention a similar thing.
Really disappointed, as I usually like everything Sunday Riley.

Exactly the same happened to me (from the Well Travelled Edit this August) and @OvaHere who bought it when released. I didn’t even realise it was meant to be blue gel the first week I opened it. The tube now seems to be all blue gel.

Yes it's one of the worst cleansers I've used which is v disappointing as I usually love anything by Sunday Riley. I'm binning mine.

jay55 · 30/09/2025 14:31

Had the same issue with that cleanser. Took it on holiday to try and oil went everywhere. Just binned it.

yes, still looks like good value! I signed up and they had an offer on for the first 3 months @ £20 instead of £25! Really looking forward to the first box & will probably save the credit for next years advent calendar 😊

BakeOffRewatch · 30/09/2025 14:40

I actually like the blue gel though @OvaHere @BCSurvivor @jay55 just terrible user experience

keepincool · 30/09/2025 16:00

I purchased the Liberty travel edit too, but haven't looked at the SR cleanser. I'll see what it's consistency is like later - which will save me gifting a dud to anyone for Christmas...

BCSurvivor · 30/09/2025 16:14

@keepincool Mine didn't feel right before I even opened it, I could hear it swishing around inside when I shook it.

Same here. Ive just squirted it down the sink, it looked like blue vomit.

msmillicentcat · 01/10/2025 17:45

Got my quarterly vouchers today which was quite a lot more than I was expecting, must have been due to what I spent during the loyalty week when we got double points. Nice little bonus there that I completely forgot about!

I am really kicking myself, I bought the sun, set, glow kit from the summer and I absolutely love the Irene Forte hibiscus night cream, the Emma Lewisham serum and the Sunday Riley CEO afterglow. I am running short on them now and really should have purchased a second kit as it was such good value.

Looking forward to the next box which I think is due out on the 15th if I remember rightly.

chiefscoutsgoldaward · 01/10/2025 20:38

@msmillicentcat same - I love the Irene Forte nightcream so much I might actually buy it, despite the £££. My quarterly vouchers were significantly more than I expected as well so I might put them towards buying it to make it a more reasonably price!

LesLavandes · 01/10/2025 20:41

I haven’t received my kit yet. Should I contact them or is it still early days?

countdowntonap · 01/10/2025 20:55

I have a huge amount of items to use up, I’m not ready for the next box or my advent calendar.
Do you all use up every product or just sample them? I hate to throw things away.

If i dont like a face product, moisturiser or serum etc, I just use it on my legs or arms.

Do you mean the next box? That’s due mid October. If you’ve recently joined you normally get the last box about 10 days after joining

I sell them on vinted, and then buy the ones I like on there that others in turn didn'tlike. Perhaps there should be a LBD swap site somewhere.

HumBumBum · 02/10/2025 08:29

Yes I sell on Vinted too, there was a few high value items that I sold over the summer (as hadn’t got around to using them yet - unlikely to run out of Acids this year!) and they paid my balance for this years calendar.

BCSurvivor · 06/10/2025 12:15

I'm really keen for another kit, aside from the gorgeous box I prefer the kits to the advent calendar.
It's been a while since we had a new kit.
