CPV dress makes me wonder if it was bespoke, and added the pink bit to the length.

Yes, I don't like the pink frill at the bottom. I think it would look better without.

I can’t believe I’m writing this given my irrational dislike of a double breasted jacket, but Daniel’s jacket today is not a good look 😬 I’m giving him a pass for the double breasted from now on 😆

This is the tiara I was thinking of, that Ingrid brought with her to Denmark and which was worn by each of her daughters for their weddings, and some younger royal women, too, for theirs. It now belongs to Anne-Marie.

The Khedive of Egypt tiara

The book Desiree by Selinko was a favourite of mine as a teen. A good read! I loved it when suddenly Mary turned up in her tiara.

As a teen, I, too, loved Desiree by Annemarie Selinko. The movie some posters mention above is based on this historical novel.

I think it's a Van Cleef & Arpels IIRC. It's a little dog!

The Khedive tiara features in the Royal Jewels programme I linked previously. Tiaras look so much more beautiful in motion with all the light bouncing off the diamonds. It really is such a pretty piece.
