They're in my shopping basket in pale blue. I want the little badges to put all over them.

Arrested development? Or practical holiday attire?

They are horrible shoes.

Ugly, clumpy and look like one should only wear them when cleaning the toilet.

Why would anyone want to encase their feet in plastic lumps like that I'll never know.

Plus every man and his dog wears them. It's like a uniform now.

beansprout · 12/05/2008 11:40

Crocs are wrong. End of.

CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 11:40

Good on the beach though, surely? (Yes? Say yes)
Or a cote de la swimming pool en vacances?

They are fantastic on holiday and incredibly practical.

I like the 'arrested development' accessories, they look cute imo

for daytime only though.........

cheesesarnie · 12/05/2008 11:45

CocodeBear i think youve had to much sun.find a nice shaded area for a bit.
and no not even for the beach.

CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 11:47

The DDs have them already with cats and flowers and fake jewels over them. They look like little flaxen-haired poppets romping merrily in them.

OP posts:
GregorSamsa · 12/05/2008 11:48

They are small and cute. You are a grownup. Cute is not where it's at for grownups.

CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 11:49

Girlish = alluring?

OP posts:
TheBlonde · 12/05/2008 11:49

no, only okay if you are at the beach

GregorSamsa · 12/05/2008 11:50

No. Everyone will be thinking: nice skirt, good sunglasses, what the f*ck are those things on her feet?

Lauriefairycake · 12/05/2008 11:51

I am 5 foot tall, cute is all I can do successfully so I love 'em

BarefootShirl · 12/05/2008 11:51

Sorry, but no no NO! They look like something you're granny wears to potter in the garden! OK, I know my going around barefoot may not be everyone's cup of tea, but when I do put something on then flip flops just look so so much better than crocs.

CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 11:51

LOL.

Sadly they won't be thinking nice sunglasses as mine are from Primark

Maybe cheesesarnie's right and I need a lie down. Mind the kids for a bit will you?

OP posts:
CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 11:53

I'm quite short too, about 5 4 max, like a slightly rotund fairy.

If you are early 20s, skinny and gorgeous, and are confident that you can negotiate the very fine line between boho chic and baglady, then maybe.

For everyone else, just don't go there.
