They're in my shopping basket in pale blue. I want the little badges to put all over them.

Arrested development? Or practical holiday attire?

Uggs are what I term "girl-fashion" (ie things that girls wear which boys just don't understand like ballet pumps, maxi dresses and anything that SJP wears) whereas crocs are just wrong. On every level [shiver down spine emoticon]

Please step away from the plastic shoe and get your self some havaianas

comfy stylish shoes

...aaah,that's better.

madamez · 12/05/2008 21:48

Maybe the croc-haters are people who don't walk very much? Maybe they drive everywhere or get carried about in a sedan chair manned by musclebound gladiators or something? Because if you are on your feet a lot in hot weather, then crocs are the business.

SmoothandWilkie · 12/05/2008 21:49

No NO NO NO

Hate them

Crocs look like they ought to be fitted at the end of a calliper.

specialmagiclady · 12/05/2008 22:04

Okay for gardening. NEVER OUTSIDE THE BOUNDARIES OF YOUR OWN HOME.

jojosmaman · 12/05/2008 22:21

I'd rather walk in my high heels than don a pair of crocs, style first for me... I went to India a few months ago and managed to catch a bit of the first ever Mumbai Marathon and looked on in awe at women running it in sari's and kitten heels. Fashion martydom at its finest!

FloridaKbear · 12/05/2008 22:24

NO NO and thrice NO (unless you are under 10)

CocodeBear · 13/05/2008 08:44

itsahardknocklife · 13/05/2008 11:09

I love Crocs. Sooooo comfy.
The rest of me looks big, clompy and ugly anyway, so my feet might as well join in!!

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 13/05/2008 11:10

No, there are plenty of comfortable shoes that aren't butt ugly.

I even own a pair of comfortable 5 inch heels.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 13/05/2008 11:16

Cods link just made me cry with laughter, thanks love, I needed it!

Kewcumber · 13/05/2008 11:18

link to comfortable but attractive shoes please but

  • no heels more than 1.5 inches due to bad knees and ;
  • high enough to accomodate my orthotic insoles and ;
  • size 9 or possibly 10 in some cases as insoles add about 0.5 a size in my case.
jumpingbeans · 13/05/2008 11:24
