My engagement ring arrived this morning and I'm so in love with it, can I see yours?

Simply and classic. Husband chose it himself so well impressed. We then went on holiday in the May before we got married and we bought our wedding bands in a tiny wee jewellers in Benalmadina so it hold specials memories when we go back.

Unsure what is going on but I'll try again !

Don't have an engagement ring (well I do, but I took it off years ago, even before I left my ex H, and it doesn't count.) I do wear a ring on my wedding ring finger, that belonged to my great grandmother and was given to me by my nan. It's garnets and tiny diamonds. It got nicked by my druggie ex housemate a few years ago but I got it back.

So odd!!

Very simple solitaire. The diamond belonged to DH’s great Auntie, and we had the setting put into a new band.

I have 3 platinum made by the same jeweller. I do wish I'd gone for something more classic like @CillianMurphyfanclub or @Ireolu, very beautiful.

My mum was a ring fanatic, as am I, so I could tell you both her + my life stories through our ring collection!
My daughter is doing pretty well too, what with presents from both my mum+ I, plus inherited rings from my mum!
The photos show my 50th oval, my 60th marquise (upgraded from my 0.5 ct marquise engagement ring from 1988).
The art deco looking one was bought recently in an auction (first one - very fraught but very exciting!) and is being resized as we speak to fit my fat fingers!
Due to mobility issues I have been unable to holiday for years - but I sometimes get jewellery instead!
I know that I am very very lucky.
