Am I the only one who loses the ability to buy clothes once the sun has come out ??

I am shite at buying summer clothes. I have a HUGE mental block on it.

Went out today wearing a grey spotty t'shirt and jeans with white ballet pumps and I felt like a right frump.

Winter clothes I can do, summer clothes no, I don't know what to buy, what suits me or what to avoid.

HELP

Slouchy you sound divine.

Do those 50s style things not suit you? Sort of capri pants with light tight cardigan? Or top with v-neck?

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2008 19:29

Outdoor summer party has to be smart linen trews, gorgeous wedges, nice tailored top and some great accessories.

I'm rubbish at helping out with the big 'hoo-hars' though - mine don't give me any jip

Yes, 50s stuff generally what i do.

Big norks = big accessories: prob is, cod,the necklaces would have to be made of car tyres to actually balance out the norkage! Back size a slimmer-than average 30inches, cup = a J.

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2008 19:52

Mine is like a light brown colour - it's not last years with the frayed edges, it's from 2006.

[taking notes]

But what is 'no inbetween' ? Terror. What is in between wedges and flats? Like kitten heel type thing?

God, I am useless actually. I don't have statement necklace. I don't have bloody anything.

But on Friday, woo hoo. I shall be summered up. I hope I don't get that sinking feeling and start making faces at the mirror and buy one black cardigan though.

I'll make a list. Of shops.
