I have set up a new Toastie thread, guys.

My second sale parcel has apparently just landed in a parcel shop - so I am looking forward to try the Sun and Moon items tonight! Most of all I think the silk Gia shirt will be a keeper, but maybe also the velvet jacket and trousers

@triggers34 - that dress looks so good with the cardigan

@OrangeyLemon - I'm the same with the two sizes, especially when the reviews say one thing and the descritpion says another . I look on the description as an aim which isn't always realised!

I finally managed to order my cotton linen twill shirt in a small with this morning's restock, so I think after that, I've tried everything I wanted to in this sale - and Toast customer services very kindly said they didn't mind my cotton linen canvas trousers being a bit late back, so am off to the post office again with them

When do we think prices will be reduced again? (having just said I don't want anything else)

Here's my no regrets pinafore. It's all about the warmth and layers in January.

I see a few new pieces have been added to the website.
Also in many of the pictures the model is wearing what I think are Vibae mules (toes out) I have the toe in version and would be tempted by the toes out for summer given how comfortable they are but I wonder would my foot slide through. Has anyone experience of the toe out style ? I’ve been wearing my toe in ones round the house with socks so not sure how a bare foot would find them in the others.

Inspired by the no-buy chat, I've looked back through my Toast order history.

In 2024 I bought the Linen Silk Jacquard dress (birthday money).
In 2023 I tried the velvet trousers and pinafore, but returned both.
In 2022 I didn't buy anything at all!

Obviously a huge element of can't buy rather than choosing not to buy in my case, so not really the same. But it is doable and survivable.

In 2025 I still have 2024 Christmas money to spend :D

Has anyone tried the organic needlecord wrap dress with front tie belt? Now that I have realised that the belt comes off, it’s looking more appealing . However, reviews seem to indicate that it’s not suitable for those with bigger busts, (which would rule me out).

Any thoughts?

@Snowyowl78 !! You are right that isn't the same dress! I really like the one on the model without the straps. In fact I really like a few things in the new section... I must not look too much or my low buy year will be stuffed by week 2

And the 3p has been refunded unprompted....

And thanks for the pics - lovely to see outfits. I'm in the Rae jumper in Jade today. From AW 2022 I think - one of my faves.

I adore Vinted both for buying and selling , I've just taken delivery of some doc marten Mary Janes £20 , they are lovely! With selling you might not get as much as eBay due to extra cost to the buyer of protection, eBay are introducing the same next month. So I think eBay prices will come down .

@IlovePond if you're considering the Nikki Jones cotton velvet throws, that Toast sell, I have bought about half a dozen over the years - all washed fine at 30 or 40 degrees and tumble dried on wool setting. Just in case you're still tempted 😉

Returnjng cosmic dress. Much nicer than I thought. One shoulder looked bigger, maybe it’s just me! Very long, almost ankle length. Going to keep eye out for it in smaller size

Oh! So many of the new things are right up my street. Damn!

Any reviews of sizing on the sun and moon dress? I am waiting for it

Just received the Cosmic dress and the blouse in same. I ordered them for fun really not expecting that they’d suit.
Shocked to find how I much love both, a real dilemma as I seldom wear dresses in the day ( feel so cold in UK and then am in South Med in Summer so live in shorts) I like the dress more than some of the others in my wardrobe but can’t bear to part with them…hoarder in the making.
The shirt is gorgeous too , probably will get some wear for evenings etc.
@MsDastardley My Cosmic dress is very long, has a bigger shoulder on one side but it doesn’t bother me as overall I love the look .

So far only keeper were the dungarees, so am I greedy to keep both Cosmics ?

@OftenOrange I love the cosmic print. I’ve already got the shirt, bought it when it came out. Going to try the dress again tomorrow. I am in two minds about getting it altered to fit.

They've endured really well and don't look too ' heavy ' even in summer. Unfortunately they're not any cheaper on her website, but there is a wider range of colours from which to choose.

Ohh I love both of those dresses @triggers34 and @TosstTastic they look great, and both are perfect for the layering we all need to do doing at the moment.

@TosstTastic the silk shirt is beautiful. It has a lovely drape to it. I went up a size, so a bit over sized, but I plan on wearing it open over dresses in the summer.

One advantage of most of my wardrobe being Toast, is that when I buy things elsewhere it all seems so cheap! My Cos barrel leg cotton trousers (as recommended by Angharadbjones on her blog) are perfectly lovely and ONLY £30!!!! If anyone has any sale shopping left in them, Cos have some really good things this time around

Maybe there will be more reductions tomorrow at toast? I'm off to look at the new stuff..
