Excited for this year as I didn't get one last year. Shall we say no spoilers before 7am?

Ooh nice one today - love the smell 😊

Really like the nude nail polish which I used last night and goes on nicely so that's a win for me!

Isitfridayyetsophie · 08/12/2024 09:11

Am a fan of Cowshed so am pleased. Would have loved a full size though but this is still good!

bigTillyMint · 08/12/2024 09:15

This looks good and nice packaging!

Nightmanagerfan · 08/12/2024 09:54

I'm very pleased with the Cow Shed shower gel. The rest has been a bit hit and miss. I'm hoping for more body products in the remaining days.

The Fresh Elements cream is M&S's own brand. I got a free night cream as part of a promotion and it's very average - smells and feels cheap.

VeronicaBeccabunga · 08/12/2024 10:15

Hmmmm...last year's shower gel was a full sized one wasn't it?
It was a verbena one from L'Occitane.
I'm pleased to have a shower gel, and to try something from Cowshed though. I tend to like the various hair products the least and to enjoy the body and make up things more myself.

Bitchillywillytoday · 08/12/2024 10:43

Like poster above a full sized product would of been nice, only used Cowshed products a couple of times, nice, but happy the lavender smell is not to strong, not one of my favourite fragrances for beauty products, but I do love the plants!

GettingStuffed · 08/12/2024 10:53

Another product in my travelling kit. It smells divine but I only shower when I'm away as I'm a bath person.

midnightowl · 08/12/2024 12:53

I like the Cowshed Calming Bath and Shower Gel. Great that it can be used in the shower or the bath.

HebburnPokemon · 08/12/2024 13:08

I'll use it but it's not very exciting.

I'm hoping for some makeup items.

Sunflower101 · 08/12/2024 14:15

This is the first year I’ve treated myself to an advent calendar of any description so I’m very happy with all the items so far. I’m using each product on the same day as I open them so I enjoyed a lovely shower this am using cowshed gel.

greywolfie · 08/12/2024 14:52

I opened the calendar through November but, am loving re-living it through this thread!
I used the moisturiser for about 10 days and really liked it. Then I got a couple of big old spots :(
My skin's normally pretty hardy- only other thing that made it spotty like this was the Liz Earle cleanser.
Course, it might be completely unrelated but I've stopped using just in case.

This was probably mentioned earlier but I've just recently found the thread and it's too long to look.

What will you be doing with the vanity case? I dont want it, can't think of anyone who I could offer it to and it feels very wasteful to bin it. So I'll ram it in a drawer for a few years then I'll bin it.

I wish it was just cardboard, in an exciting design.

ThePoshUns · 08/12/2024 19:26

I might use it to keep my wool and crochet stuff in

BlueLimeRun · 08/12/2024 19:37

I’ll probably use fit make up - easier to find (and not make duplicate purcgases) if all in same place. I may try to divide into sections.

Its a good size to go in a draw, I might keep my hair stuff in it.

Its good quality and not branded, you can donate it to a charity shop or offer it on your local facebook free site, there is no need to put it in landfil.

Hair bands/clips/scrunchies (😁) /grips and all the other rubbish have for my hair will all go into the new vanity case.

Sure you can find a use for it, even to put gloves in! Random I know....

TENSsion · 08/12/2024 20:42

My daughter has already called dibs on it for her crafting stuff.

HebburnPokemon · 08/12/2024 22:05

I’m using the bag to store comedy Xmas earrings, headbands, etc. It will go in the loft with the Xmas decs and come back out next Xmas.

mrsnjw · 09/12/2024 07:24

I'm going to store perfume in mine.

Ohh like the look of the wow product. I've never used it before. Pleased!

ThePoshUns · 09/12/2024 07:29

Wow! I am pleased with today. I will definitely use this. Am hoping the 11th is the matching conditioner.

I love this and use it at the moment. I'm very happy today and think you could be right about tomorrow!!!

Bitchillywillytoday · 09/12/2024 08:19

Not used this before so will look forward to trying.

When it said on the front color (sorry colour) security shampoo I though it was for coloured hair, glad its not.

bluebeck · 09/12/2024 08:27

Happy with today’s Colour Wow shampoo. Useful for holidays.

Chrysanthemum5 · 09/12/2024 08:32
